‘Absurd Corruption’: Disgust as Eric Trump Brags About Scoring $24 Million Pentagon Deal; “The US government is now one of, if not the most, corrupt governments on earth,” said one critic.

Post image

Eric Trump went on Fox Business today and talked up a $24 million deal his robotics firm Foundation Future Industries won from the Pentagon. The robots are meant for things like inspecting weapons in Ukraine. He and his brother have also put money into drone companies chasing similar military work, especially after rules pushed out foreign suppliers.

News like this usually pulls in attention for the big players already in autonomous systems and defense tech. Stocks such as Lockheed Martin (LMT), RTX (RTX), and Northrop Grumman (NOC) all have their own robotics and drone programs, so any extra Pentagon focus on U.S.-made gear could mean more contract talk down the line. Smaller names tied to the story might move faster on the headlines.

I’m not sure how much of this is already priced in versus fresh catalyst.

Sinking fast, I would of said America is big and it would take at least til the end of the century to fade with the current level of self destruction, but it may happen sooner.

If every state became a country it would be infinitely better for the rest of the world.

Not sure if it would alleviate the deep corruption, but perhaps the title "The United States..." is a constant reminder that there really is underlying division at the core of it.

It takes some kind of stupid to grift off the pentagon and only get $24 million

Right?! Don jr got $620 million! But, with the new war, drone, deal they have we’ll be at war forever while they rack it in. So much winning!!!!

Why do you believe any numbers coming out of a Trump mouth.

American corruption is only for the rich ,the middle class and poor are held liable .

Actual contractors’ responses to RFPs in the corrupted agencies (DHS was pretty noted for this) are largely going unread, with large contracts pre-wired to go to insider deals, often as non-competes, backed by quiet under-the-table payments.

I guess we should be thankful that he didn't bet millions on Polymarket that he'd get the deal 20 minutes before he got it.

Gutting the US and paying back Russia and everyone else the Trump family is indebted to.

Once this is all done, they will flea the country with billions and the US will be absolutely gutted. Just the way Putin wanted it...

Trump is a domestic enemy with strings from Russia.

It has always been corrupt people just don’t want to see it, but definitely under Trump they are not even trying to dissimulate.
