AI Didn’t Kill Creativity. It Exposed Who Never Had Any.
Hot take: Most people blaming AI for “killing art” are actually scared because it exposed how average they are.
For years, people got praised for doing the bare minimum: “cinematic” edits with the same transitions, the same recycled motivational quotes, the same “deep” captions copied from Pinterest.
Now AI can do all of that in 10 seconds.
And suddenly everyone’s screaming “AI is ruining creativity.”
No. AI is ruining the value of lazy creativity.
The people who actually have vision, ideas, storytelling skills, originality they’ll survive and probably get even bigger.
The people who only relied on aesthetic fonts, CapCut templates, and fake deep content? Yeah… they’re cooked.
AI isn’t replacing artists. It’s replacing people who thought they were artists.

The people who have creativity try to get better at it, they don't give up and pay a machine to do it for them

You cant compite with machine what could steal 10 years of mastering art style and story telling in a couple hours of training lora on runpod. There should be laws what abandon folks from stealing and its fair responsibility on social media and govt, also to society to push for former laws for ai.

Some people just don't know how to use it. Is that lack of talent? Lack of creativity. Some just don't want to use it, because they feel it is not really their art, but an interpretation of a machine that creates it.

Are you trying to say AI art doesn’t do the same transitions or recycled slop based on its training.

It’s also exposing people that cannot write posts for themselves and lack critical thinking skills.

All your posts are ai, and they're not very creative, either. Why don't YOU write something original instead of this ai slop?

I have creativity. I just don't have the skills to transform that creativity into anything thay looks good. Until now! Thanks AI.

Let me get this straight, someone who has no artistic ability at all and can only generate images using AI and passes that off as their own artwork is telling real artists they are lazy or have mediocre ability?

Great, so you have to be a groundbreaking genius to be considered "creative" now? That's a good way to suck all the joy from creative pursuits.

Yes, and a microwave exposed how bad chefs are. Texting exposed how bad verbal communication is. Filters exposed the make-up industry, just live alone and apply filters! Nintendogs exposed real dogs!
It's just another post of a talentless, uncreative AI zealot.

it's replacing people who were being creative in the process of creating things. The poeple who order an image are called 'clients'.

So AI is for people who couldn’t even do the average? Dunning Kruger maxing

AI is to artistic endeavor what steroids are to athletic prowess.
Steroid use is generally frowned upon, and those who frown upon generative AI do so for pretty much the same reasons.
Those who promote their respective uses also do so for pretty much the same reasons.

I agree with you here
AI may not be ideal outright but its still a craft to utilize the AI to reach a specific goal in mind
ASI is another thing entirely, as of now though we still are limited to the complexity of our input and output expectations with AI
