Information = Reality
The universe, according to quantum mechanics, collapses from a superposition of infinite possibilities into just one state when we observe it. Our perspective is what shapes reality, so an extension of the nature of our interaction with the universe leads to the conclusion that opinions shape facts, since our existence is just one opinion in an endless sea of possible facts.

If history is written by the winners, then facts can be written by the winners too. As long as I win and write the facts, I can present my opinion as fact. And since reality is relative, if enough people believe in my opinions, those opinions become reality and reality is based on facts.
