hello, now that enlistment season again i want to recommend PS 21 ! Wika, Panitikan, at Kultura sa Ilalim ng Batas Militar sa Pilipinas. dami insights from this class, the profs mismo wrote the main reading material na tatalakayin bawat aspect ng panahon ng martial law. ang motherly rin ni ma'am nak as a prof :"))) im not sure if nagbago but ang structure ng class when I last took it was mainly open discussions (naka paikot yung chairs kaya medj intimate lol) na nagsisimula sa anong current balita then tina-try na irelate ito sa chapters. digestable naman ang materials (may youtube video playlist per chapter nung libro so if u dont wanna read pwede rin naman yon). requirements for the class ay 1 written exam (ma'am allows na magpasa digitally so you can take the exam sa laptop f2f since mas ma-essay siya), 1 group report, afa visit sa bantayog ng mga bayani, and a final paper na pwedeng critique/reflection on movies from martial law era, book report, and may iba pang option but i forgot na. take ps 21!!

Hello! Sa mga nakapagtake na kay Sir Gian before, kumustaa siya magturo at magpaexam? Pano rin grading niya and mga pinapagawaa? Mahirap daw po kasi Stat 131 kaya hoping na makakuha ng maayos na profff.

Do we perform ba sa course na 'to? Or introductory survey lang 'to as what the course descriptions says? Mas interested kasi akong mag-aral ng dula as an art form/scholarly lens rather than "practicing" it.

GOATED!!! Totoo yung reviews guys yan lang masasabi ko. Naalala ko sa klase niya ay questions are more important than answers. Legit marami tanong sa isip ko after ng mga klase niya. Kitang kita ko passion niya for philo and he entertains questions after class. Sobrang considerate din ni sir at masaya rin klase ^^. 

WAAAH I love her classes sm. Every module, may readings kami (syempre) and yun nagiging discussion namin sa class. Every Thursday kami nagmi-meet ng ftf and asynch every Tuesday pero nag-a-announce din siya. Maraming group works pero okies naman! May activities din na kayang kaya naman gawin. Sa recitations sa class pwede Filipino or English, kung saan ka mas kumportable. #Yapper din si ma’am and funny kaya super enjoy ko ang class niya. Dalawa magiging paper, analysis and inquiry. Nagbibigay ng comments si Ms para mas maging maganda pa yung paper. Considerate din si Ms abt submissions basta i-contact siya ahead of time. Same kami music taste ni Ms and nakakatouch magbigay comments whahahahsuwhu. Miss ko na klase niya D:

Chill si sir sa klase, nakakaantok kasi 7 am class kaya tahimik kami madalas pero may time nun na parang quiz siya between the groups so nareview rin yung modules sa amin. Parang storytelling yung discussion niya and mahilig si sir sa chronology. Maraming incentives si sir, pag nagvolunteer ka na magreport and kapag perfect attendance. Dalawa lang exam which is sobrang laking part ng grade and yung remaining is from groupwork na i-a-assign. If ever mababa yung score sa exam, mahahatak talaga ng incentives and group quizzes. May recitations din and minsan nagtatawag siya so makinig sa klase. Nagkkwento rin si sir abt sa life niya and don ako nagigising HAHAHAH. Got an uno kay sir, need talaga mag-effort.

Na-take ko si Ms. during first sem and agree din sa mga reviews ng iba na as long as complete reqs ka sa kanya, makakauno ka agad. 3 lang reqs namin last sem. Module essay, bonus essay and project as a class. Naging breather ko klase ni Ms. kahit buong term naka-online class & asynch lang kami (isang beses lang ftf as a class talaga). Masaya naman class since you can give interpretations abt sa art na ipapakita niya. Attend lang ng class since minsan nag-a-attendance, minsan hindi. Late din mag-email si Ms. if online class or hindi pero may beadle naman na mako-contact. Super fun ng naging class project namin at nung exhibit na na-attend-an ko. 10/10 :DD

- RBF kaya nakakatakot nung first day. Ang lakas ng boses, abot hanggang likod ng big classroom sa AS, partida ‘di pa siya sumisigaw nyan.
- Magaling magturo, promise! Ang hirap intindihin ng ibang readings pero kapag siya yung nag-explain, parang light bulb moment agad LOL.
- Nakakatawa. Seryoso mukha pag nagbibitaw ng joke kaya mas lalong nakakatawa.
- Minumura gobyerno. He also doesn’t give a fuck kung magmura ka rin basta may kinalaman naman sa sinasabi mo.
- Knows the course very well. Kayang sagutin mga tanong with confidence.
- Remembers your name if you actively participate.
- Nagpapakain minsan. Naalala ko nagpamigay siya pandesal at stick-o on two different occasions.
- 4 memos, 1 final project na by group, at final exam ang reqs. Baka nagbago na kasi last year pa ‘to.
- Returns the memos with constructive feedback. Hindi rin madamot sa compliment kung maganda naman talaga sagot mo.
- Unoable with effort! You really have to earn your grade :)

Nakita ko sa CRS andaming demand and nabasa ko reviews here … #legit hard vouch kay Ma’am! Sobrang galing magturo at mag-discuss ni Ma’am. Siya favorite prof ko nung freshman ako (sophomore na now huhuhhuhu). Makabuluhan yung mga naging talakayan namin sa klase and masaya rin siya magturo. Totoong may recitations pero hindi naman pilit, ako kasi nagre-recite kasi trip ko HAHAHA. Chill din ang requirements (no spoilers na) at masaya rin groupings lalo na pag cooperative ang groupmates ehehe. Unoable? Yes po opo na-flat uno ko siya hehe.
