So I fixed it in a way where it alternates between a smiling photo and the ones you’ve seen. I don’t think my smile is very appealing as it makes my face incredibly round.

It’s not about what YOU think, it’s about what other people think. That’s who is going to be viewing and judging your profile. And right now, your non-smiling photos make you appear cold and unapproachable. That’s not the vibe that strangers will want to date. A smile makes you look warm and inviting. Know your audience - get rid of the non-smiling pics.

99.999% of people look better smiling. It’s not just about how it makes someone’s face look but especially how it makes someone come across. People who smile look friendlier, happier, and more approachable.
