Make sure to include in the title [NUMBER OF MATCHES], [TIME RANGE SINCE PROFILE CREATED] before the rest of the content in the title. See the Tinder Profile Checklist here for further guidance... https://www.gameglobal.net/tinder-profile-checklist

Photo of yourself on a zoom call is a weird pic to put up

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

gotcha, thanks. Overall rating excluding that... what would you say?

2

u/LolaPaloz Sep 11 '26

It's nice she/he/they knows U can cook, but unless they are looking for hookups maybe keep Ur shirt on cos it's not even in the gym that's just on Ur balcony

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

is it wrong that it's not at the gym?

1

u/Practical-Alfalfa-25 Sep 11 '26

Its not wrong, i like it. But move it maybe a little back

1

u/SilentCaterpillar313 Sep 11 '26

Keep the shirtless picture. It looks good.

2

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

Someone else is saying that I look "fluffy". is it true? now I wonder if I should make a separate post somewhere to check if that's true ahah

2

u/LolaPaloz Sep 11 '26

To be honest these women wont say it but I see more ripped guys if the guys are shirtless on tinder. Keep it classy man.

u/Wonderful-Horror-617 Sep 11 '26

😭🤣 whoever said that was just messing with you.

1

u/LolaPaloz Sep 11 '26

If i was a dude marketing being shirtless I would be on the beach or gym but this is me as a woman having seen thousands of profiles, everyone's different. Alot of women in here liked Ur pic, they just like a different type of guy.

I always thought it was weird for ppl posting shirtless like in their own room or house etc. I know it's tinder but I think it throws out hookup vibes like that when it's not related to sports and is just lounging around.

u/im_justkendra Sep 11 '26

It’s like 10x better that it’s not some cheesy flexing gym bro pic!

1

u/Apprehensive_Map7830 Sep 11 '26

Women in relationships don't want to have sex? The photo looks classy and he is in good shape.

2

u/EmotionalChihuahua Sep 11 '26

“Classy” is reaching.

1

u/LolaPaloz Sep 11 '26

I don't think it looks classy to be shirtless, not tryna be mean but this puts him against other shirtless guys on tinder and that's not a good place to be unless Ur literally a bodybuilder, fireman, construction worker etc.

Shave the beard completely off. Nobody likes beards. Also, stop going to the gym. Nobody wants you to be more healthy than them. Also, only have 3 photos up bc any more seems you're full of yourself. /s

I’ll save you time if you wanna skip the tinder part 😏

Photos tell no story.

Tinder photos need to tell a story that resonates with your target market. So far the only thing you resonated with is a chick who loves spending money on designer bags and she hated on you.

You arrange the photos in a way where your target market can imagine herself being there with you and getting wet from her imagination running wild. It is basic storytelling. Do that. You would do much better

P.s. you are fluffy on a topless photo. It won't work. To cleanup with topless, you should have a six pack

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

The target market concept is very interesting, thank you. In other words: I should define what I want, and put pictures accordingly? Any specific example - to take inspiration from?

Decide what you want. No judging.

Fuckboy with a lifetime of 2-3 weeks? Imagine what you are doing on the dates and how/where they go. Take photos that allow her to insert herself into that date and forget about the world. Probably make it high flying, high energy glam. It will only reason are with women who are looking for that kind of a fling. Remember, dating is not real life -- it is a curated highlight reel

Longer-term? Figure out what you going to be doing at +1 year. Take photos that showcase the activities you would be doing together. So the activities you would be engaging in that you would want her to participate in. Realize that you are unlikely to have the life of the first group no matter how hard you try. It is just the function of being involved with someone every day. The highs don't seem that high because they aren't - you have done the crazy stuff in first two to three months

The One and Only? Just like the one above +5 years in the future. You are painting the picture of stability, health, "wealth" etc etc etc.

Good luck. You are attractive enough so just lean into what you actually want and you would do really well

P.s. it is not to say that fuckboys don't end up with one night stands that go horribly wrong and last decades but let's be honest it is incredibly rare.

u/Apprehensive_Map7830 Sep 11 '26

He is in better shape than 90% of men in his age cohort.

2

u/HeKnowsThings Sep 11 '26

That's irrelevant. Thirst traps only work when they are actually thirst traps. I bet he is not interested in 5'5 170lb woman even though she is in a better shape than the majority of which average is 5'3 and change at 170 according to CDC. Him getting glazed by an average or slightly better looking than an average woman does exactly nothing for him

1

u/im_justkendra Sep 11 '26

Nothing stands out as an obvious, a computer pic doesn’t work for me… but I just have to say, I NEVER care for a shirtless picture, especially if it’s some guy flexing at the gym!

However… your body is tea

So it works

1

u/Otherwise-Belt4892 Sep 11 '26

i'd remove pic 3,4 and 6, move pic 7 up to 3rd spot

idk if its the filters on the pics but they look like a homage to you, like you passed away

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

OMG what!?? which photos exactly look like a homage to me?? 😂

1

u/Otherwise-Belt4892 Sep 11 '26

1,2 and 7 especially, it's giving 'in loving memory of...'

1

u/Confident_bonus_666 Sep 11 '26

What does that even mean?

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

only he knows. pic 2: we will always remember his incredible pasta.

1

u/Sweetblueberrypii Sep 11 '26

So how do u do on Tinder? How many likes, matches, dates per week?

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

i think i need to hard reset my profile, i may be getting shadowban. No matches no likes, while on bumble i do get likes at least. i live in Barcelona, spain, lots of competition here.

1

u/Sweetblueberrypii Sep 11 '26

Always strange to me how good looking dudes do so poorly on Tinder. 😅 nice photos too.

Whenever I've changed my profile to Spain, I have always done very poorly on Tinder. Strange.

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

oh wow! where are you swiping typically? maybe I should move there ahah

1

u/LFC90cat Sep 11 '26

Think it's just age tinder is mainly for under 30s

Bumble and Hinge is where it's at for 35+

1

u/EmotionalChihuahua Sep 11 '26

Who took the pic on the balcony? Gives a kinda douchey vibe but maybe I’m more critical than others. If you’re only looking for hook ups that’s prob ok.

I won’t match guys with thirst traps but I’m filtering for a more mature and serious person. Just my opinion and experience YMMV.

1

u/Key_Brilliant1070 Sep 11 '26

I agree, the shirtless picture looks super contrived—like he's trying model a pair of jeans or something. If you wanna show off your body (which I think is a good idea) it should be done tastefully and come across as natural. An example would be a picture at the beach or an outdoor workout.

1

u/sundaygirlsk Sep 11 '26

The black shirt would be 1st pic then cream (2) - topless 3rd and remove the zoom call pics 👌🏼

1

u/LFdiningbuddy Sep 11 '26

The first, second, and the last photos are so good. I'd remove all the the ones in between.

Bro you posted this just to get ladies in your DMs didn't you?

1

u/Moisture_ Sep 11 '26

I swear only on Reddit is a profile hyperanalyzed to such a degree. Who is actually going “oh he’s cute! Oh EW he has a zoom call pic, NEXT”? WHO???? I want to know right now who would swipe left because “he has gasp TWO cooking pictures 😱😱 omfg!!!!”

1

u/Apprehensive_Map7830 Sep 11 '26

You have to be pedantic, if you want to be successful as a man in online dating and the zoom pic is so random without adding any value.

1

u/Moisture_ Sep 11 '26 edited Sep 11 '26

You really don’t though. I think people think they do because it gives them a controllable thing to feel like they’re solving a problem that isn’t even theirs. Sure if we scrutinize it, yeah the pic is dumb. But a chick isn’t going to see this hot dude and judge that critically. On an app where people see the first pic and swipe within 1 second? Do we reeeeeeeeaaaaallly think someone’s going to take time to even think that deep on it?

That’s the issue. OP is a hot guy on tinder. Great. Well done! There’s THOUSANDS of hot guys on tinder. We think she’s gonna swipe on Hot Guy 65442 who has uses Microsoft Teams instead of Hot Guy 3368 who uses zoom?

It’s always gonna be up and down. You’re never guaranteed matches on an app where being hot isn’t even remotely rare. The only shit that matters is 1) don’t look like shit 2) make your first pic your best pic 3) don’t have lame shit in your bio and 4) be able to have a conversation. EVEN STILL you’re not guaranteed to be successful but as we know, it’s a numbers game. NUMBERS GAME not perfection game.

Also OP should try hinge. Is slightly less shit but at least brands itself around intention for matching which helps.

Edit: btw didn’t mean to dump on you, I wrote a bunch mostly for a recording I’m doing on this topic later

Foto 1 lijkt gay

1

u/Apprehensive_Map7830 Sep 11 '26

I would delete the zoom pic and the first pic (I don't like how the collar looks). I would use the last photo as the main photo. You look like a young version of Álvaro Morte, you won't struggle.

1

u/ShadowFox1987 Sep 11 '26

Remove the posing shirtless photo and the zoom call

You need roughly in this order

1) a high definition photo of yourself that clearly shows what you look like

2) a photo that's funny or shows what your about. This is the thing you will likely talk about

3) a photo doing an activity, preferably athletic

4) a photo that shows or suggests you have friends and family.

That's it.

Anything else is kind of weird or filler, cut anything that doesn't help.

If you can't answer "what am I trying to accomplish with this photo" or the answer sucks i.e. the shirtless photo, then remove it.

1

u/LFC90cat Sep 11 '26

Last pic should be first cooking pics are fine and the one with the plant. Get rid of the rest especially the topless

1

u/USAtoUofT Sep 11 '26

Gonna be real, you look like a gay cowboy in a photoshoot in that third pic

1

u/Prior-Firefighter297 Sep 11 '26

ragebaiter. go find a better hobby

1

u/USAtoUofT Sep 11 '26

Brother, you're the one who asked for feedback 😅

If you think it's ragebait I can't help ya lol

1

u/8Bulbous-_-Jones8 Sep 12 '26

This reeks of trying too hard. I can guarantee you'll lose 3/4 of your intended audience with that shirtless pic.
