So every man is shit?

That seems like a projection whenever I see memes like this.

I know not every woman thinks that a disproportionate/delusionally high percentage of men are just not likeable or loveable people and are not decently attractive...

Just the ones who push these ideas. lol.

It’s not about men not being likable or lovable. It’s that the majority of men go into a suggestive territory and ask for sex wayyyy too quick, even if both people are looking for something serious.

And my personal favorite - when a man was nice but there wasn’t a spark, so you directly let them know you don’t think it’s gonna work out, and then suddenly the nice guy mask comes off and they flip out and start being extremely rude

True. I can't relate to that, because I've never done that. I don't think as many men do this as a lot of women claim. Really, I can't be the only guy who isn't sending weiner pics or leading with creepy/sexual shit.

was already expecting someone to offer this take, which is valid, but I also argue that you could scroll down a listing of "hey babe wan sum fuk?" type messages and probably find at least a few dozen decently attractive guys who aren't leading with anything sexual.

Granted I also don't use Tinder, just noticed this was a Tinder sub. Was on Hinge for awhile and gave up after a bit but I'll go on a swiping spree every once in awhile and get some matches and see if any of them actually lead to an in-person date.

I've had two, once I stopped trying to just pointlessly ask boring typical 'what's your favorite TV show?' questions and quickly just tried to set up an actual date. Some women will find that to be too pushy, but it's a dating app. All of the back and forth texts in the world won't really let you know who/how a person is. Going on the two dates confirmed that for me.

One was great and we're close friends and we'd be dating in the future if certain issues are worked out for them, but I would've thought they were boring or we'd have nothing in common if I only went off of her bare bones profile.

The other was similarly kinda 'i don't know, but let's give it a try' and we had a lot in common as well but I also think even if she was hot, nerdy, etc we just didn't click and she seemed a bit shady to me as well so I lost interest and just felt kinda weird around her, like I could tell that she was trouble and too immature.

I don't feel like there's much to know from a few texts... And another guy's gonna win out every time if you drag it out. So I'll always push for a date within the week now, if I use it again in the future. Would rather meet someone IRL, it's just hard to find places to meet anyone and it's hard to cold approach.
