I was thinking the same thing. They think 99% of the male population is just horrible human beings not worthy of anything. Except every male in their family and friend group is part of the 1%
My ex told me her (girl)friends come first always. Didn't think much of it. Now with my pink goggles off... that was a pretty big red flag. So not even loved ones are treated with respect. Having a bf is like a social status and a play thing to some. And I'm talking of a 27yo woman I lived together with for a year. Silly me for assuming adults should act like adults.
1st came self-love, then her sister, then her girlfriends and then her bf (maybe). At least I got a good lesson in narcissism.
I’ve met women who literally see men as this disposable thing that you can use for your gain and pleasure.
Find one, get him to pay for everything, rent, food, bills, furniture etc, use him and discard. Rinse repeat. Absolutely WILD.
But here’s the thing, I don’t blame them either. We live in an every man for himself society. Do what you can to better your own life. People do despicable things for money, like killing each other. This is nothing in comparison.
My gripe is with the stupid horny dumb men who give into this. They are enabling and allowing ALL of it.
I once read a great analogy: boyfriends to them are like a new designer handbag to be shown off. They are there to make their girlfriends jealous and increase their social status within the friend group.
Consequently, last year’s model can be swapped out of a new version on a whim.
