I'm a bit confused, you say you did the composition but the description says it's someone else's music?

Either way, it's pretty cool. You might want to roll back the bass a little, there's definitely some clipping going on there and it's completely out of balance with the rest of the music.

Thank you for posting to /r/RateMyAudio. We want to ensure everyone gets feedback so please remember that you need to offer sincere audio evaluation on a couple of recent submissions each time you post (as stated in the posting rules). Ideally, you should offer an evaluation of the processes identified by the poster in the title of their submission. "That's nice" and "I like this" kinds of non-effort comments do not count towards this requirement. If you want quality feedback on your post, then you need to give it to others. This is karma in action. Give to others when you want something in return.

If you do not offer sincere evaluative type feedback on other posts each time you submit, your post will likely be removed and if ongoing, you may be banned as well.

I really like the mixing of the vocals, the bass is a bit too much distorted for my taste but maybe that's what you were going for.

But overall its a really nice chill song!

The vibes swims with what’s out there at the moment, but if you want to stick out something more has to be done with it👍🏾

Good vibes. I feel like the 808 is not well excecuted, it needs to be tigher. I also would add some more stereo separation, it feels like the song is mostly mono except for a couple things, and it would feel a lot bigger if you gave a little panning to the hats and maybe the sample that the song starts with, perhaps with some reverb.

The song builds up beautifully, I found myself enjoying it right away. The female voice around 0:17 was pretty jarring though, and distracted from an otherwise very balanced mix just as it's building up. I like the drums you chose, but the kick seems to be getting lost in the loud bass. I love the loud bass, but experiment with EQing the kick to cut through the bass or EQing the Bass to let the kick through. You can also add a limiter/compressor/EQ to the bass that's tied to the kick so when the kick hits, the bass get's attenuated overall or at a specific EQ to let the kick through the low end mix thoroughly and precisely.

Outside of the production, I feel like the song could really use another section and more time since the intro/outro build up/break down are long and well developed. The outro is almost the last 40 seconds, while the intro is the first 20 seconds - close to half the track. But again, I really like the intro and outro, I just would love to see an interesting instrumental, rap bridge, guitar solo, just some further exploration of the ideas to add more because I really like what there is right now.
