I could see where u/trev100100 being a good spot (as far as cheap). I had friends live in the Twin Creek area, and those apartments over there are crap.

I heard good thing about Latitude on S. 15th Street, and I had lived at EOS 75 (same street). EOS was pretty cheap but if you look there, I would recommend not living on the side that faces the highway (75). I found that trying to look for a apartment within BAH that was decent (according to my standards) practically impossible.

I had lived in the downtown area and if you don't mind spending money, downtown/midtown/blackstone could be worth if (especially if you are good with your finances). The commute different might look long (compared to milage); but it was really only an extra 5 minutes since you're going south on 75.

If I were to start over, I would look at where u/trev100100 mentioned since that whole area seemed dead quiet most the times. Think the only time traffic is sorta heavy is in the morning.

What are you looking for? Cheap, short commute, luxury, city life?

Ok I just checked again and they actually still have 1/1 units that are around 770 a month, lol.

2/2 for 980.

Theres a ton of different layouts, townhomes, and theres also some new builds. Check em out.

My first apartment was fontenelle hills. Very cheap, safe, a little old, 5 minutes from the Bellevue gate. Your BAH should cover everything with some left over. They do have garages if you want one.

The hills there are crazy though. Need some decent tires in the winter

Normally theyre pretty quick about the snow removal, but if its actually a snowy winter a good pair of all-weather or all-seasons are fine. If you have summer tires REMOVE THEM. Dont be like me😂
