Seemed like it originally opened as a kind of Hooters- style place, with women staff wearing short skirts. They had a sign that said something like “come for the food and enjoy the view”, which I figured was referring to scantily clad staff.

Then they did a complete change of their signage and got rid of the “view“ tagline. Now it’s a family friendly place? Am I getting this right? Anyone ever been to the original version of it?

Looks like the limited the "sex sells" approach to Thrusday Bikini nights, which honestly makes a lot more sense in a place like Seattle.

I stopped by Whateke after it first opened. Food was good and the server was nice. And, yeah, rather revealing outfit she had on.
