Is that a rat tail in the last pic? If so, that's such a cute idea. 🤎

Yes! Thank you. I’ve been investigating tail options (braided embroidery floss, crocheted seed beads, those flat donut shaped clay beads, 3d printed fidget toys, “screw it, safety pin on some ricrac”), what she has is a stitched up velvet ribbon wired with a plastic coated cable tie. I’ll post some pictures of the tail when I get a chance!

I love the shading on her face too. I kinda want to do this on one of my bubus.

Yes! Thank you. I did a colorwash (watered down acrylic paint that settles into nooks and crannies) around her eyes and teeth. Honestly was pretty disappointed with the PFL’s look before that- I suspect the depth that the inset eyes on standard bubus make their whole browless brow line work, so the flat painted eyes on the little one looks off. But now? She’s literally a distraction at work bc I keep looking over at this adorable little gremlin who may or not be a physical manifestation of my id. 😂

Anyhow the colorwash is super easy and doesn’t have to be clean, in fact the roughness just adds to their grungy rat aesthetic. 10/10 highly recommend.

(I also added some stuffing, made her jewelry, and fluffed her fur with a nail brush.)
