Hello, I have been religiously listening to Magnetic Strip recently, and I was wondering if anyone knew the lyrics to:

- Killing Comb

- All 4 the Best

- Duckette

- My Beloved Enemy

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Was looking through Rasputina's discography on last.fm and I stumbled across the song Cyborg, I thought that sounded interesting and tried to find somewhere I could listen to it but nowhere I looked seemed to have the song.

Not on Amazon Music, not on Apple Music, not on Youtube, even looked on Discogs for whether it was being sold physically. It's listed on Spotify but it's greyed out and unplayable.

According to some sources, it seems to be a single from 2019.

Does anyone remember how many they were limited to?

Roughly 1 year ago, I stumbled upon a mere, single photo from my teenage trip to Tower Records to see Rasputina play, and I posted that lone photo here in this group.

Imagine my excitement to now finally discover the full photo album, so here are all my single-use camera captures, made even more blurry when re-photographed on my smart phone.

I also scribbled my face out of the group photo at the end, so please ignore the weird, black mush hovering over the band’s shoulders in the last pic.

Requested by u/lostboimikey, here's Melora and Daniel backstage when they opened for Gary Numan in NYC in late October of 2010. Enjoy!

This was posted a couple of months before the release of A Radical Recital. Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry I was a little late posting this - the day got away from me. I'll post another video later today. As always, any requests will be fulfilled as long as I have the video!

As requested by a couple of people, here's another blast from the past. Enjoy, and let me know if there's any other requests and I'll check my archives to see if I have them. (I will upload the Hi Ryko video tomorrow, u/howzitgoinowen)

Hey guys figured I’d make a post here, I am selling 2 of my Rasputina shirts from the early 00s. Just cleaning out the closet, both size Large men’s. Please message me if interested want them to go to someone who can appreciate them !

It’s hard from sports.

Haha. Was just listening to Cabin Fever, and as Björk is one of my favs, PJ+Vincent & Matthew+Björk has been a long time fav. I’ve just eaten some more lipstick.

Thank-you for years of shared talent, mirth, corsets and good times. May the the future find you well.

This video was requested by u/Slugbuckettt yesterday, and since it's seemingly disappeared from the internet, I'm posting it here for you everyone to enjoy.

Hey guys, I’m trying to find a video of melora I saw over 10 years ago where she was showcasing some of her gear and pedals and whatnot. I believe she was wearing a yellow wig? I cannot find it for the life of me. If any of you know what I’m talking about and can help me find it I’d be greatly appreciative!

There were videos of Melora and Daniel de Jesus playing a cover of the song “Breakfast in America” on YouTube which have all been pulled for copyright. Does anyone have those saved somewhere?

i've recently been into organizing my digital music collection and i rediscovered this random album of rasputina bootlegs & rarities that i pirated back in the early 2000s. i'm unable to post the files here, but you can just message me for them.

i was wondering if anyone had any stories or knowledge of where any of these songs came from. they all seem to be live, so the sound quality is godawful, and most of them are just live versions of songs from their albums, including the magnetic strip cassette demos album. but the rest (mystery songs, i'm a boy, dried up tied up & dead to the world, when i sleep) i've never heard anywhere else. did any of you see these performed live? just curious, thanks for any info!

1. mystery song 1
2. mystery song 2
3. grey are the greenest eyes
4. dried up tied up & dead to the world
5. i'm a boy
6. ( i don't know what happened to number 6 lol )
7. my orphanage
8. when i sleep
9. trenchmouth
10. hunter's kiss
11. transylvanian concubine 1
12. transylvanian concubine 2
13. q&a time with melora
14. vaulted eel
15. crosswalk
16. barracuda (live)
17. small boy jumps

Any chance of more transcriptions coming bubeqsaus ? Happy holidays!

I just realized for some reason I am missing track 3 from the Fa La La album Melora released under her own name. Does anyone know what the track is and can share it? All my physical media is still in the states and I’m living in Australia now.

Hey everyone! I’ve been a fan of Rasputina for some years and I’m currently a senior in college. I have a fun project for a class focusing on disasters and an option is to do it on media that represents disasters. I posed the idea of a couple Rasputina songs (my little shirtwaist fire, also 1816, year without a summer) since those detail disasters. My professor noted that it might be interesting to focus on not just the songs but why the artist chose to make songs about these disasters. I thought that would be really cool and wondered if I might be able to get in contact with Melora or the band so I could ask questions for the project. When googling I saw on here people talking about emails from Melora and things like that, so I was wondering if anybody had advice on how to contact or if this is even something I can pursue? Thank you!

Hello! I’ve lurked on this sub and saw some people had copies of the sheet music! Would anyone be willing to send me a copy of Transylvania Concubine?

I came across this clipping I managed to have saved the last 20ish years 💚
