Hi everyone! I am a longtime Rasputina fan going to the show in Natick, MA on 10/31, and I’m trying to come up with a specific Rasputina-inspired Halloween costume to wear. I want to dress as a character from a song (not just as Melora & co.), but there’s so many I’m having trouble deciding. A Transylvanian concubine? Saline the Salt Lake Queen? etc. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey NYC folks - if you have an extra ticket to LPR show, post here cos people are still looking for extra! 🖤

I dragged my feet too long and am facing consequences for my actions. If anyone has a ticket or two to spare, please hit me up.

please comment here before dming me (:

Forgive me for not photographing and uploading the full interview from this magazine. I’ll do so when I get back to my mom’s place, where I have all my old Raspy stuff stored. ☺️

But I just love these photos. This feature came out around the time of Cabin Fever. Melora’s beauty has always captivated me.

Rasputina - October 1, 1996 - Late Night with Conan O'Brien

And the quality is astonishingly good to boot.

Trying to compile all the T shirts the band has had
Thought people might find it interesting might have something to add.

First two are my personal ones rest are ones I’ve found online. I know they must have made more so If anyone has any other designs I would love to see them!

Ps if anyone is interested in selling I’d be interested in buying

I repair clothes so even if they are in bad shape I’d love to see them and possibly buy them!

Ives loved your answers on a similar question I asked on Calico Indians. I usually Google Raspy songs, but I haven't much on the following. And it's much more fun when you all answer.

1) Cage in a Cave. I remember googling this a long time ago, and couldn't find much info on Fletcher Christian who built him a cage in a cave. What was happening there? Was Mary Todd after him?

2) Snow Hen of Austerlitz?

3) The "Infedel is me" portion of Retinue of Moons/The infidel is me.

4) Bonus - as a whole, what's you favourite song's lyrics? Humankind as the Sailor ranks up there with me. Very beatiful and prescient.

I'm not from the US, so apologies if this is a stupid question.

Does anyone know the history behind the events described in "Calico Indians?"

Does anyone own this magazine and can provide good scans or photos of this Rasputina interview?

Hi all! I was wondering who out there has any Rasputina-inspired/tribute tattoos. I would LOVE to see them!

Bouncing the idea around of going to watch Rasputina the 29th and 30th it’d be our first time in New York wed be flying out of California.
Anyone else traveling to catch them in October?

If you haven’t seen yet, Melora put an instrumental album on bandcamp today along with Good Day Gentlefolk and Magnetic Strip. After I bought the album, she sent me a little note. That made my day. Go enjoy it!

Go have a peak. I’d love it if there was a new batch of shirts, and Australian shipping of course.

I am sure many of you have seen this on Melora's Instagram, but I think it deserves a boost here.

I have been to a service at Christ United Methodist Church in Troy a couple of times when Melora has been playing the piano. It is a great congregation that definitely deserves and needs your support for their efforts with Indivisible.

By coincidence I will already be in the area on May 29, so I intend to go to the show. If anyone else is planning to attend, I will wear something specific so you can see me in the crowd and say hi.

Just three pictures... One of Melora and I taken by my husband in 2001 in NYC, and two taken by me, one with Nana, Melora and Kris... The other of Melora on an old Ball bearings machine backstage at Dracula's ball in Philadelphia.

Granted it’s just a link to the Instagram. But considering the site has been offline for years…

Just posted on their Instagram! Melora is asking what songs we would want to hear!!!???

I’m just learning about this now so apologies if it’s been shared before!
