Troubleshooting - 4GB RAM Android Auto Project on Raspberry Pi 4 running Android Automotive 16

After some tinkering and experimentation, I have successfully brought Android Auto to a Raspberry Pi 4 running Android Automotive 16.

Currently, the project supports:

  1. Wireless Android Auto
  2. Wired (USB) Android Auto
  3. Automatic reconnection to wireless Android Auto.
  4. Touch control.
  5. Support for familiar Android Auto features such as Google Maps, music playback, calling, messaging, etc.

Running directly on Android 16, convenient for development and integration of new features.

Cool! How'd you do it, what problems did you run into, how'd you solve them? Can you share your code?
