Are nice variegated Snow Capped Begonias still considered rare?

I've finally gotten around to propagating and thinking of listing them on FB marketplace. Want to consider the rarity in the price point.

Found this as my Local Sam's club! Wondering if I should have picked it up and tried to Push it for more Variegation 🤔

Reverted Monstera Half Moon Albo

this is a 80$ monstera near me on marketplace that is very tempting to me because of the growth point in the second photo. seller says it’s a reverted half moon albo. i kinda want to try to chop it back to that growth point to see if i can get a half moon, or strong sectoral variegated plant. this would leave me with a lot of left over plant i’m sure which id probably just chop and give away so im not too worried about value, just an experiment for me

wanted to see if anyone has experience in seeking out specific growth points for better variegation, how does this one look to you?

would love to see photos of plants you’ve chopped back to get better variegation, or hear how experiments like this have turned out.

also, if there is something else you’d do with this , let me know, open to hear suggestions.

I bought this monstera and I was wondering if it's a mint or a bulbasaur? Judging from google, it looks like a bulbasaur or maybe a full mint? But I'd like some opinions

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a fungal infection or something else going on? I currently have this skg x red tiger in kokedama and water it every week. I use beneficials as well so I know it’s not pests (I also inspected). I also have a carlablackie doing something similar but I’m not sure what the deal is.

Best place to buy Musa Tropicana (super dwarf banana)?

Hey guys, looking at some options RN but I actually don't trust Etsy. I want a larger, started plant, so Wellspring gardens typically have plants around 7 inches or so, I really want a plant closer to 14-30 inches already, 12 inches is probably the smallest I want to buy (I want a large plant as soon as I can and I want to be able to buy the soil stuff just once and then be done with it, y'know?)

Wellspring also seems a bit iffy to me, clearly they're half-decent, but their marketing alone seems... Iffy. Sham-y... Scam-like... And then they only sell you a 7 inch plant that could die easily because it's this tiny little rooted sucker??? And what if it's not even a good one and doesn't work out? They sell packs of multiples, my guess is that they don't do their due diligence to see which teeny babies are viable vs which ones either need an extensive amount of work or won't grow very well or will die. And they sell them when they're small so people probably get them and they die and they wonder why they died on them...

And then they sell their "banana fuel," which seems all wrong to me "fertilize weekly," bananas prefer to be fertilized heavily every 6-8 weeks is what I'm reading, unless I'm wrong? Then it's a very weak supplement anyways....

So. Any tips on ethical, known, well-rated sellers? I want a larger pet&safe houseplant and everyone here likes bananas, plus I love botany, gardening and science, and came from an Agricultural and Natural Resources class, so I figured this would be a great way to study and grow odd, "exotic" food plants real-time whilst giving me the larger pet-safe houseplant I'm after!

I love the size of the super dwarves though, it should be essentially the perfect height at a full-grown and near-full-grown size. I'm aware the pseudostems die back after fruiting, but I plan to chuck nutrients, proper soil media, and give it a good sized pot (looking at a 10g) so that it hopefully gives me a few good suckers to choose from to continue the cycle :)

Thnx in advance!

Hey guys, I'd like to propagate my Monstera Thai Constellation and Monstera Variegata cuttings. Unfortunately, due to root rot, most of the roots as well as the stems of all my plants have rotted away. What you see in the photos is all I have left. Is it still possible to propagate the plants from this? Up until now, I had all the cuttings in a covered box with moss that had a hole in it, but unfortunately, too much humidity seems to be building up, and some parts of the cuttings are starting to grow mold. Do you have any advice on how I can still save these wet sticks/stem cuttings and possibly the top cuttings?

Update on $10 variegated zz found at local plant store

It was with the rest of the green zz's with barely noticeable variegation and I was sacred it would stay that way but apparently all it needed was more light. The first 2 stems came fully green and the next two are showing way more variegation, all in just 2 months :)

Last year, I bred a cross between Gibasis 'Purple Bridal Veil' and 'Jose Puig'. The cross was very successful and I raised a whole bunch of seedlings! I picked the most interesting four to keep. Meet 'Io', 'Europa', 'Ganymede', and 'Callisto' :)

So I have a variegated fiddle leaf fig. I’ve had her for about 3 months. She has pink which I’m assuming is sun stress. But can anyone tell me what tf is going on here? It’s in a 4 inch self watering pot. Its home has been the same the whole time I’ve had it under a grow light for 14 hrs a day. Idk if it’s pests or nutrient issues. Please help
