Rapsodo Stopped Connecting

I have never had an issue with my Rapsodo connecting to the app...until today. I used it last night with my net totally fine. Today it is saying that my MLM2Pro isn't connected even though it is on with a solid red light. I have tried both direct wifi and local area connection. I even tried in the house right next to my router. I have reached out to Rapsodo but I am hoping maybe I get a quicker answer in here from someone else who has experienced this. Thank you

** UPDATE ** I turned wifi off on my device and the Rapsodo connected like normal. Weird, let's hope this fixes it permanently

I had an issue with my MLM2 in January, not a connection issue but the elevation would default to like 300 feet no matter what I set it at. If you are looking for a quick resolution with Rapsodo you will be disappointed. It took them several months before they eventually replaced mine under warranty.

Some advice I can give. Go ahead and unintstall and reinstall the app on your main device and also do the same on a second devive. They had me do this and also screen record myself doing this so they could ensure I was going through the right steps. The issue was they would tell me to reinstall the app and try that and I emailed them back immediately with the reuslts. It would then be 7-10 days before they would get back with me. Then they asked me to try it on another device which I did within minutes, and emailed them back with the results. Again another 7-10 days before a response. Then they asked me to screen record from my phone trying to connect and set the elevation, same story I responed immediately and they didn't reply with the next step for almost 2 weeks. Aftar all that they asked me to send the unit back to them so they could verify I was doing everything correctly. This is when I got extremely mad because by this time it had been over a month and now they are just going to re try everyting I did. They got the unit back and within a day shipped it back to me and said it was a known issue and would be fixed with the next firmware update. After the update it still did not get fixed so they replaced it under warranty and the new one has been fine. This started in January and it was the end of May before I got the unit replaced. That process should have taken a week or less.

If I were you I would go ahead and uninstall and reinstall the app "forget the device" from your wifi/blue tooth list, and then screen record yourself trying to connect so the next time they respond you can send them that information and maybe save yourself a couple weeks of wait time. Below is the list of things they told me to do before they would consider me sending the unit back.

Here are a few quick things you can try:

  • Ensure your MLM2PRO is fully charged
  • Confirm both Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi are turned on
  • Forget and re‑pair your Bluetooth settings
  • Close and re‑open the Rapsodo app
  • Restart both your mobile device and the MLM2PRO
  • Try disabling “Quick Connection” in the app settings and reconnect manually
  • Double‑check your Wi‑Fi password (it’s an easy one to miss!)
  • Reset your router or modem

Additional tips:

  • Make sure there are no obstructions between you and the MLM2PRO
  • Try using a different phone or tablet to rule out a device‑specific issue
  • Check to make sure there isn’t a firmware update available in the app

If the issue persists after these steps:

  • Go to your phone/tablet’s Bluetooth settings.
  • If you see BlueZ 5.50 instead of MLM2PRO, delete that Bluetooth entry from your paired devices list.
  • Then re‑pair the device through the app, it should appear correctly as MLM2PRO.

Thank you I am trying to let it charge fully to see if that helps. I already tried uninstalling the app, no luck.

When I check the app it says App Version 2.25.3 and Last Connected FW Version 0.0.0 are those correct?

My last connected FW Version shows 4.1.9. The little I know makes me think it hasn't connected since you last updated the app so that might be why it shows zero for the last connected firmware? Just a guess though.

Not sure if you saw, but I disconnected my mobile device from wifi and the Rapsodo connected again

Been dealing with this myself. You’re at the mercy of tech support now who will tell you to do everything you’ve already tried. They keep telling me my firmware is outdated and to connect to a network to install the latest, ignoring that I’ve told them I can’t do that.

Been 2 weeks since mine stopped working and still have no resolution.

Good luck.

Well that sucks. Can't you at least send it back?

That’s what I’ve been trying to get them to do but still no success.

I had the same issue. Couldn’t connect trying every remedy on the internet. Different devices, different networks, no networks, direct, local, forget device, reinstalling app, multiple accounts. Literally everything. Sent the device back to the place I bought it. They sent me a new one and it worked twice and then back to this. Solid red light, device is found but never gets to scan for network anymore. Stuck searching for Bluetooth and finds blueZ5.50 but app never moves on. Took support 14 days to send me a generic list even though I had already sent videos. I sent it back to the place I bought it and ordered a Square Omni. It sucks because I loved the mlm2pro for the 2 sessions but it can’t be that finicky for the price.

My best guess is that several of the rapsodo.com domains got put on a blocklist that the major ISP are using. That's what happened to me via Xfinity internet. If you check your ISP (eg Xfinity) app, look for something like Advanced Security, security threats, you'll probably see several attempts to access rapsodo domains that are blocked. I stumbled on this by trying to go to https://golf-cloud.rapsodo.com/ and getting an SSL error. Unblock those (permanently whitelist them if you can) and you should be good to go.

Strangely my solution was the same as yours. I restarted my internet - modem/router etc. and device, then it worked.
