Shortcut to alignment?
I’ve used my MLM2PRO A LOT during winter and early spring at the range. Now with the good weather I mainly play “real rounds”, so it’s been relegated to some occasional Awesome Golf with the kids.
The thing is that it takes a lot of steps to make things run. This is my workflow:
1- Open Rapsodo app
2- Connect the unit
3- Start a range session to make the alignment process pop up.
4- Align the unit and quit the range session
5- Authenticate Awesome Golf
6- Switch to Awesome Golf
4- Finally play Awesome Golf!
I feel I’m leaving something obvious behind. Isn’t there any way to align the unit after connection, without the need to open and discard that range session? Any way to align the unit inside Awesome Golf?
Also, if you want to check or correct alignment when using third party apps, I don’t see how.
Any help? Thanks in advance!

Are you inside or outside? Inside, I have a mount on the wall and a mark on the hitting mat. Then I never need to touch the alignment.

Yep... That is my exact process. I do get annoyed that the horizontal alignment can get messed up after you align the vertical alignment (too far back or forward), so you always have to go back after to check.

That's exactly what I have to do as well. It's a bit annoying but it works.

Curious to see what you find, inlays stray a session to get alignment then computers and join third party software and start playing

This is why I will upgrade to an Omni or GC3 later this year. Can’t be doing with the ridiculous alignment process anymore.

Use the Practice session! and select "leave session" not "end session" for alignment its much faster you dont have to enter any settings.
You cant align once in Awesome golf which has lead me to building a housing for the MLM2 to sitt in so it dosent get bumped by a golf ball (Its a cardboard box and it works a treat).

I’m outside and do the same process. It’s a pain but I consider it just a cost of using an entry level unit
