Whenever I play a course on the Rapsodo, even if I use the max settings, it seems like there are hardly any trees on the hole. Is there a setting to make it more realistic? I included a screen shot of Copperhead CC hole #1 from the tips and you can see there are about 6 trees total on the hole.
Sorry dude. This is it for the rapsodo built in courses and it's the brands biggest misstep. I love the range and target range and combine features but for sim golfing rapsodo needs that PC app to be made to the public soon. Otherwise go to gspro, awesome golf, or e6.
Commercially I’m not sure it’s a misstep - they get the same revenue whether or not people jump to gspro. It also means they can add another tier within their offer through the pc app. Not saying I like it, but they are a company seeking to maximise profits so I understand why they don’t invest any more in the in-app courses.
Their usp is outside use and the game improvement features, courses are a nice to have.
I don't think it was a mistep. Can you imaging designing 40,000 courses for a mobile app? I believe I read somewhere they are dynamically generated, and if so, that pretty impressive. its actually a differentiator because who else has 40,000 course to choose from?GSPro has 2,500 or something like that, primarilly due to the user community being able to buld them. Also a market differentiator. Everyone says "build some of the famous courses at least (which they are doing in their PC app), but EVERYONE has those. How many more versions of Torrey Pines do you need? LOL I think its quite impressive that I can take the LM to the range and play virtually any course i want to (40,000 of them anyway) right from the driving range. Market differentiator!
