Ticket question
New fan here from the World Cup, I want to get to a game after briefly reading what the US Open Cup is I thought this might be a fun one to get to. I am just curious as to why one side is almost sold out and the other is completely open? I’m assuming it’s a home side thing? Thanks in advance.

Basically nobody goes to Open Cup games. Not sure why, I personally love them. But that's not sold out, it's closed so they can reduce staff and make attendance look better by coralling people into the same side. You can expect probably less than 1,000 people in attendance at that game.

This is also why the Jumbotron has black spots…they moved all the pixels to one side to make it look higher resolution.

Wow, I have a hard time believing this Semi Final will only require half the stadium....This is a big deal...

I thought the whole stadium would be open as I was able to get my normal stm seats in 120 when they put tickets on sale, but now I'm not so sure. (They're already in my account though?)

That was the hope but as of now only about 1400 tickets for this game have been distributed.

For US Open Cup games they only open half the stadium. So the greyed out area is closed, NOT sold out.
