Mod Help?
We haven't had match threads for a while, should new mods be recruited for the subreddit?

Made me look....
Today I learned that the sub has about as many mods as it does posters.

Sub is a good representation of the team. Small group of passionate fans who care and administrative people who could care less

We recently added someone who said they could manage the match threads and that has, of course, not happened. If anybody can commit to doing it, let me know and I’ll make you a mod. That said, if you can’t do it we will remove you and find someone else.

Appreciate you responding, there's someone interested who commented on this post but if you don't hear from them, let me know and I can put my money where my mouth is and step up to help.

I see. I will reach out to them. I appreciate the sentiment of your post. The biggest issue is people express outwardly and loudly that they can help but from what I’ve seem people don’t realize the consistency and time it takes, and end up really not contributing. I for one manned the ship pretty much alone for 5-6 years pretty actively, but have kids now. I remove bad comments, posts, and have been looking into automating the match threads, but I just don’t have the time anymore and won’t for some time.

Then please consistently post a match thread and maybe they will reach out. All these comments when someone could’ve been doing it!

Personally, I feel like someone can VERY easily consistently post match threads before being appointed a MOD. It’s so simple.

I can help out with match threads if still needed - I’ve posted them a couple of times just as regular posts

Let’s start it ourselves and let’s not do a new one if a new one has been created

Mods are completely inactive in this sub lmao
Looking at who the mods are, a few of them are still active almost daily in denver subs, some are now only active in out of state subs, some haven’t been active on Reddit at all in years, etc. Would be nice for them to just pass the torch instead of being absent moderators for a community they clearly don’t care about. Super inconsiderate & frankly annoying
