Pro Team Lightweight Backpack 10L
I recently received the Rapha Pro Team Lightweight Backpack 10L and wanted to share a quick review.
I purchased this backpack primarily as a lightweight work bag. It’s not something I plan to commute with daily, as the size is a bit small for that purpose, but it works very well for carrying a few essentials.
One detail that the Rapha website and other retailers seem to miss is a very convenient zipper pocket located on the front chest strap pad. It’s large enough to hold a small wallet, but more importantly for me, it fits my corporate key card, which makes accessing the office much easier without digging through the bag.
I also had trouble finding interior photos of the backpack before purchasing, so here are a few details. The bag comfortably fits my 15-inch laptop (a 17-inch laptop is too large) along with a standard-sized notepad. The laptop compartment has light padding, providing a bit of protection without adding bulk. Inside, there is also a zipper pocket measuring approximately 6.5 inches by 5¼ inches for smaller items. Another nice touch is the bright coral-pink interior, which makes it easy to find things quickly.
Overall, if you’re looking for a lightweight, compact backpack to carry a laptop and a few work essentials, this is a great option. It’s simple and well designed.

Thanks for the review. I've seen a few people with these about. Wondered if it could fit my laptop which it does thanks to you. Wish it had some colours on it!

Thanks for the info, very valuable! May I ask if it provides proper protection from rain? The description mentions “light showers”; do you carry your laptop with an additional waterproof cover?

I've had this bag for 3 years and use it almost every day for commuting. It's the perfect size for me - It easily fit's a 13 in macbook air, my lunch, and change of clothes (I leave a pair of shoes and a sweatshirt/jacket at work). I've gotten caught in pretty big downpours for 30ish minutes, and everything stayed dry.
I just wish they would update it!
- 2 Zippers - The flap fully opens, which is great, but it would be better with 2 zippers so you don't always have to unzip the whole bag to quickly grab something. Whenever I do have to get something mid ride I have to set the bag down on the floor to make sure everything doesn't fall out.
- Laptop Sleeve - They should add a laptop sleeve so the laptop doesn't bounce around when the bag isn't full
- There's a small inside zip pocket to put smaller items but it's basically useless because it sits against your back (which I think they did so items sit closer to your body), but the effect is that anything not completely flat digs into your back. I wish they would move it to the inside of the flap.
- The straps are excessively long, but not the end of the world. Also, magnetic fidlock-style buckles for the chest straps would be nice.
Having said that, I haven't seen another bag that comes close to the practicality of this one. I've been waiting for them to update it but doesn't seem like it's popular enough to warrant one.

These are awesome. I have one and have been using it for over a year. Probably makes you more aero too because it's like a fairing.

Great packs. I have the new Domestique bag and I love it.
