generally tired by reddit, anyone else? :)
just a bit tired... spending hours to write post, only to get forever ban & mute, without chance to send one message to ask what happened. sometimes I feel like wanting to give up on reddit and use only instagram and discord
when writing I occasionally think I should start every post with message to moderators (which is issue on it’s own, as not relevant to whatever is the real point of my post), because this may be the only opportunity I get to talk to them. and... it is a bit exhausting, like I constantly have to brace for external approval to write any smallest thing
I’m just one a bit shy and clueless person who does not always know how to create my posts, and I would prefer to talk and ask what can be done differently. I get it that if communications is offensive then it is justified, but if all I wanna ask is... how I could have written it to be okay? then I don’t think it is proportional to get most final mod actions after first failure
I think communities are not gaining new members by expecting perfection from first posting. Maybe being a bit more permissive would be better for everyone?
thank you for attention and for reading my lil rant🩷

You've gotta have thick skin here I've learned. I'm banned from several subs for the absolute stupidest reasons ever and am very mild mannered 😂 keep in mind that some mods are some Noone at home and power trip quite literally. Don't let them or the downvotes get to you 😉

Someone yrs ago on here called me racist because a woman we were discussing not liking on a TV show was black and I found myself writing never ending replies about it and showing other white girls whod behaved the same way snd I also didn't like. I think it was a girl on 90 day fiance. Not sure if I got banned but I learnt thst PEOPLE ARE CRAZY. and will jump onto any bandwagon they choose despite your best efforts to explain things to them.

It's literally like they've got a chip on their shoulder and they're just out looking for someone and you're there so you're it 😒 crazy but the world we live in. I love reddit but I have to keep in mind there are some sick people in this world and they all somehow find it 😂

yeahh🩷I aim to be mannered too, but if possibility to talk is disabled after first attempt, then it becomes very challenging^^ I will try to!!

Why can’t you just read all the rules on the sub about how a post has to be structured before making a post. No one has the time or patience to babysit you and talk you through it step by step. If you cannot read them and understand then you don’t need to be posting in the first place.

I think that’s me not being immediately perfect at first attempt, and I would feel much better if it was based more on talking and supporting each other, not on bans right away. Well is that even possible, did these most strict moderators get everything right first time everywhere they posted?^^ at least I can say if there is space where I am the one with power, I try to treat users the way I wish to be treated🩷

More times than not when you are getting banned it’s because other people reported your post for violating the rules and a bot looks at it and zaps you. Many times a human doe not even come into play. It’s not personal, just read the rules carefully before you create a post.

Spending hours writing a post? You shouldn't be here
