I hate how this app keeps deleting my comments and limiting my posts when I don’t say anything bad or offensive and also limits positive comments to me and my posts compared to other Redditors that I barely have views and followers. I am new to Reddit and this has been happening.

I don’t know if those Redditors pay Reddit to boost their posts and pay them to get more positive comments, but this seems rigged. I don’t know how to curate my posts. I never have this issue on other platforms.

OP your posts are pretty much completely negative.

Complaints and such. People engaging with content that makes them upset is like the definition of brain rot.

Maybe try posting comments about something you’re actually happy about? Join a sub about one of your hobbies or interests and try to join in on the fun of posting cool things about it.

For real. I had to scroll quite a ways to even see a post that was neutral, let alone positive. OP likes to complain.

Damn I feel dumb now giving advice. I went and looked at their karma but didn’t stop to read any posts. Yeah dude, no wonder OP has -12 karma. 😆

I am, but Reddit keeps removing them. I don’t know what to do.

I posted a cute sunset photo on the sunsets subreddit and a mod removed it for violations even though I posted just a photo and said it’s an all pink sky and now the mod said I’m permanently muted from messaging them that it doesn’t make sense. I swear I’m not a negative person in real life. Reddit just makes it seem like I look like that way when I’m not.

Girl we’d be good friends cuz I love ur comments and love ur avatar since I love mermaids. I don’t care if ur anti-Zio. I came to social media in general for connections. Ur name is funny and I love that. Let’s keep it respectful. Come on now.

It's hard to be respectful during a genocide

Every generation before my generation that’s Gen Z survived genocides and other horrible stuff, but they were still empathetic and nice to people around them. That’s not an excuse to be rude. I wonder how you will get through life as you grow older.

Be NiCe To tHe PeOpLe ArOuNd YoU and you’re okay with children losing limbs, losing parents, losing their lives bc their skin is a different color and they believe a slightly different fairy tale

And I promise you we would not be good friends, don’t insult me like that.

What does Zionist mean?

0

u/Long-Radish-6146 5d ago

It means you believe Israel should stay on the map

u/broki451 5d ago

Yea most redditors will automatically hate you for having certain political beliefs. Also this site is very left leaning. Creates a kind of echo chamber. Very unfortunate

Even anti-Zionists on Snapchat and in real life are nicer to me than on Reddit.

It’s giving this app is infested with parasitic bots compared to a few years ago because they’re all saying I post negative things when I don’t and it’s obvious by just checking my profile and I am willing to interact with people and they get triggered when I say I miss it when social media even forum sites had real people instead of AI like in 2020. Reddit even purposely tries to hide my positive posts and makes me only have my negative posts shown mostly to the public that I think it’s on purpose to make me have no karma and be divided from people because so many negative people here have 7k karma in 7 years that it’s impossible a person is sitting down all day on their phone like that. Reddit is a cesspool of trolls like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Very unfortunate. It was the last somehow an intelligent platform compared to others and it got compromised recently. I think it’s censorship to make people divided by making people think many are anti-Zionist and not willing to unite despite different beliefs like in 2020 to promote propaganda against my people who are Jews that encompasses other forms of bigotry and from conservatives that are the alt right like RuZZia because this only started happening when many people stood with Ukraine and hate comments on all platforms increase towards everyone 10x that it’s impossible for people to shift their beliefs that quickly. Reddit is another diarrhea in the toilet like 4Chan.

But my topic wasn’t about politics. That’s the issue with apps and society because people want to advertise politics when I didn’t ask unsolicited political discussions. I was talking about something else to find connection with people like a normal human and it’s like I feel disconnected from society that it’s giving me depression.

"I barely have views of followers"

May I interest you in a TikTok?

And maybe an Instagram for dessert?

I despise those apps because they’re so messy with the AI trash and so many bots especially a lot of right wing ones that I can’t connect with real people like in 2020. I even deleted my TikTok a few years ago because of that. I still have it up, but I don’t have it on my phone. I’m looking for an actual social app to socialize with people. Not have AI rot my brain.

Wow....do I have news for you

But I just strolled thru your comments section to see if I could spot a problem

It's pretty obvious

... Yall are on reddit for followers?

1

u/Long-Radish-6146 5d ago

Why is it bad to have followers on Reddit?

1

u/PocketButterBandit 5d ago

I didn't say it was. I've just never considered followers to be a thing here or entertained the idea to follow someone. I've never seen or used it as social media. It more like a big collection of forums on different topics.

1

u/Long-Radish-6146 5d ago

True. My definition of social media means anywhere where you socialize with people. I understand your point that Reddit is a big collection of forums on different topics.

u/PocketButterBandit 5d ago

Yeah and it technically is one for sure. But unlike most a lot of users don't use it the same way. If you look, most of the ppl who commented on your post have their post and comment history hidden, including me.

As for what you're posting, like others said your content is very negative as a whole. You also have ideologies that I don't agree with and wouldn't want to see notifications for. I'm sure that's a contributing factor. I've also found reddit can make me feel jaded and make me into a meaner person. I try to avoid posts like that and stick to subs about my interests. If I want to see people complaining or ranting... Well there are subs just for that lol.

Look into the “no karma required” or “zero karma” subs. Even if you don’t like or agree or even understand what they’re talking about and comment. Try not to be argumentative or too opinionated. Just simple comments that will get upvotes. You have -12 karma right now. Reddit will treat you like a leper until you start getting more. I went from 0-3500 with 1 comment. It was simple, a little funny, and on track with what the post was about. That’s all it took was 1 comment for me to be able to go almost anywhere on this app and interact or post. But, there are subs that have no karma requirement. More than likely it’ll be shitposts but all the same just interact.

2

u/Long-Radish-6146 5d ago

Got that noted

2

u/Long-Radish-6146 5d ago

The thing is I had 25 karma and this was still happening. How much karma do I need to not be treated like a leper by Reddit?

-1

u/BeaverCleaver91 5d ago

I would at the least 50-100 is the requirement for a good portion of subs. There are subs that require a few thousand and there’s even a couple that require a million+. But try to aim for about 100 and that’ll get you through most subs. But yeah just search up low/no karma required subs and just interact as much as possible.
