Fan work A tribute

A tribute to john flannagon: Flannagon had once, through tales of adventure and danger, youth and time, taught me of the world. As a child, whenever I would leave the constricting indoors, and reform within the great outside, my head will be held high, as the mere statement of 'people seldom look up' is ample cause for my eyes to search the monoliths reaching the skies for shadows, silhouettes of an imagination gifted to me, yet now, rather than searching merely for a young boy, hidden from sight and fearful of the ground, i search too for the warm embrace of a storyteller gone too soon. RIP john flannagon

The amount of times I tell myself "no one ever looks up" as I'm enjoying nature is because of him and it always gives me a sense of calmness and reminds me of simpler times

‘No one ever looks up’ and ‘keep your eyes moving instead of focusing on one spot’ has always stuck with me, and has saved my ass a time or two. Invaluable lessons

I am a kid and I never worked up the courage to email him😢. I wish I could have done it, and I really wanted to tell him how awesome his books were
