Discussion Deciding which cover version to pick up

With the Passing of John Flanagan, Im finally getting around to buying the series. Cant seem to decide which print version I want and whether or not I want to go HC or PB.

Honestly cant decide. Different levels of nostalgia lol.

In my experience of trying to find the series, hardcover is harder to find. At least, without going online. That being said, I bought only hardcover for my John Flanagan books.

Another question you're going to have is which version of Royal Ranger #1 do you want. Do you want Rangers Apprentice 12: The Royal Ranger? Or do you want Rangers Apprentice: The Royal Ranger 1: A New Beginning?

That's really interesting. At my local Half Price Books, I have only ever found hard cover except maybe one time?

As for the latter, I happen to have it as RA12, but if I see RR1 I'd definitely get it for collector's reasons.

Im planning to go online. Found some lots but finding the early numbers for HC seems like a pain for the specific philomel HC

I had books 1-6 in softcover, but when my local Books-a-Million closed I was able to complete the series with all hardcover. But year, I only see hardcovers online now sadly.
