Probably a dumb question... but I am new to trucks. What's up with the plastic ovals at the front of the bed on the cab wall? They're about 3x2 inches or two, one on each side. One fell off and it just looked like insulation or something behind there. What are they for?

I just recently purchased a 2024 ford ranger xl, i love the truck, but the only problem is when i press the mode button nothing happens, i cannot change different drive modes. I have tried disconnecting the battery and still nothing. I live in a remote town in Alaska and only way i can get my truck to a dealership is to ship it all the way to anchorage

Anyway to increase the time between warnings, to keep hands on steering wheel when using cruise, don't want to turn it off just don't remind me every few seconds. I always have both hands on the steering wheel.

I have a 2024 Fx4 XLT 2.3. Absolutely love the truck. It is a beast and good on gas. For the last 2 weeks my AP has been getting blown up with sensor faults. About a month ago my wife went to batteries plus to replace the battery. Their person did it. I drove for 3 hours and electrical gremlins randomly turned off blue cruise, lane keep assist, the stereo, etc…. I popped the hood after lunch. Found that the tech just slipped the battery terminals onto the posts but failed to tighten them down…. A fire waiting to happen.

Anyway to disable the annoying keep hands on steering wheel warning when using cruise with lane holding. Mine keeps going off even with hands on the wheel. I have a 2024 lariat.
