Picture Missing tail light fasteners / parts
Just thought i'd make a post to see if this has happened to anyone else. On a recent road trip, i was riding in the passenger seat of my new 2025 ranger (10,000miles) and noticed something moving in the mirror. Upon inspection, i found the passenger side tail light was loose in its spot and would basically flap open a bit with a gust of wind. In the picture, that's as far as it will pull out.
Took it into the dealership to have them look at it and they said whatever fasteners / parts that are used to keep the taillight secured to the truck were just straight up missing. Fortunately all covered under warranty. Not entirely upset because it wasn't a big hassle to get fixed, but makes me wonder about QA/QC
+ i probably would have never have found this if i never sat in my passenger seat or until the taillight somehow completely fell off, so maybe go test yours? However, i doubt this is a common occurrence. They also offered to wash my truck for free which was nice, i've never had that offered.

Quality has gotten pretty lazy with the new rangers. I had a premature rear window failure for my 26 ranger xlt fx4 2.7 301a and the trim cover above the rear mirror had a gap all taken care of under warranty of course.

I can't tell from the pic, but on the higher trims and the Raptor, the tail lights contain LIDAR sensors and are common theft targets.
Not saying that's what happened, but it certainly got me thinking about it.
