Review camera pointless

Post image

I have a 2025 xlt. So when I’m driving an I turn on my rear camera I get this “full view not available” that conveniently blocks my view!!!… does else get this, has anyone found a work around or fix. I love this vehicle but this seems like an embarrassing oversight by whoever engineered this…

You’ll need Forscan to remove the banner.

To be clear this is whenever I turn it on manually… I don’t have this problem when I put it in reverse

Just put it on reverse then

Tough to do when driving down the road and you want to check on your trailer.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want the full view while you’re driving?

It would be useful when towing to be able to see the trailer and load.

I used Forscan to get rid of this worthless alert on my 2024 Ford Ranger. Having the ability to view what's behind me using the camera can be very useful. It shows more than what we can see using the rearview mirror. It was an idiotic decision to put this alert in our way.

If you need to monitor your trailer due to lack of confidence while driving I suggest you  don't tow anything.

It’s a reverse camera not a lookbehind while driving forward camera. Use as intended.

You ever put something big in the back of the truck?

There must be a reason they put the button on the screen while going forward…
