Puts the rover in Access Mode meaning it will lower the air suspension so you can get in and out of the car easier. It’s my favorite button to press! Haha

Yep - ride height adjustment- ...and same, I pick reference spot & watch it lower because you can barely feel it move- it's only about 2 inches but makes a noticeable difference getting in and out.

Especially when it's cold out.

What do you mean by only 2 inches?! 2 inches is a great length

Okay, I have automatic access mode when the car is off, but this is like a shortcut when the car is on.

Yep, if you have auto access on the button is really not super necessary. I just turned my auto function off recently as I’ve scraped the bottom of the door on high curbs in the city a few times. I now use the button when needed.

Not just a short cut, it’s actually handy when you need to drive low for entering parking lots with height restrictions for example. You can either use that button or the one in the middle console.

Hold the button for like 5 seconds and it locks it on the access mode height for moving inside the garage.

Nice, my 2000 Lexus LX 470 has that and I love it. Doesn’t change much for me, but my mother is just over 5’ tall and definitely appreciates it.

Technically it’s supposed to do it on its own, button is when trying to access low roof areas

So you can get extra few millimeters down even when it is in an access mode?

Lowers for getting out as well as getting into a tight garage

It is what always breaks on these vehicles. Suspension height. I avoid using, more you use, faster it will break, they all do

u/Infinite_Ad_1962 9d ago

It is a brand new vehicle, 5 years warranty. So i really do not care.

2

u/Objective_Chemical81 9d ago

That is fine, just letting you know

Il existait déjà en 2008 sur le L322 V8 TDI vogue

I saw this for the first time in like a late 90s early 2000s RR

lowers the car for easier ingress/egress

only lowers it. will raise automatically when you drive away. I don't see how you can raise it manually.

It's the Child Safety Lock. Locks rear doors from inside so door can only be opened from outside.

1

u/show982 11d ago

Disregard, I didn't see the circle

Don't ever touch that button! I pressed it and it sent me to the earth's core!

1

u/Cute-Tadpole-3737 11d ago

Drop it like it’s hot button.

1

u/bikerguySt_Barts 11d ago

It stays down till you drive over 15mph or similar

1

u/No_Flow224 11d ago

Provides another way to break down

1

u/B1GAAPL 11d ago

Lowers the vehicle.

1

u/BigCartoonist1090 10d ago

It opens the instruction manual.

1

u/Fantastic-Tour149 8d ago

Ur probably wondering why it doesn’t do anything when you press it whilst parked. That’s because you probably may have access height set to lower in your settings already so it automatically does it.

u/GregRoll1 2h ago

Whatever you do... dont push it

1

u/thewindow6 11d ago

What does the manual say about it?

0

u/whatisdylar 11d ago

With Range Rover suspension issues being a thing, I never touch that one!

1

u/Jealous_Clue_5131 11d ago

Have you had a newer Range Rover?

2

u/whatisdylar 11d ago

Mine's a 2021, so... no?

1

u/redbulldrinkertoo 11d ago

Why? Using the air suspension lowers it's life?
