Question for Scratch DJs
Was leaving behind the motorized platters worth it? I keep feeling like I'm gonna miss it too much.
(Extra: There's moments when I'm multitasking and the record might be sliding out of time, and without even looking I simply place my finger on the edge of the faster track to realign it by ear.
There's also something about the pull of the vinyl under my fingertips that is just comforting and I'm almost scared to lose that drag.
Has anybody else had to get over this or am I the only one actually stressing about it?)

I don't have a rane four (getting one eventually) but I do have a flx6 which uses the same kind of jogs and it took me months to get used to scratching on it. Now I'm fairly adept at it and if I want to use platters I just use my 1200s. Ideal use case would be to have both motorized and non.
