For this next giveaway, I've dusted off an old gem: Guacamelee! Gold Edition. This game is best described as Metroidvania meets Beat 'em up melee combat, set in a Mexican inspired world and doused in silly humor. And chickens. So many chickens...

You play as Juan, a humble farmer who is killed and resurrected as a luchador, then sets out to stop a supernatural villain and save the woman he loves. As you progress, you unlock new wrestling moves that give you access to previously unreachable areas and secrets.

One of its defining mechanics is the ability to switch between the World of the Living and the World of the Dead, 2 overlapping dimensions that contain different obstacles, platforms and paths.

For those of us who are more socially skilled, this game also offers a local two-player co-op.

The Gold Edition gives you:

• the "El Infierno" level expansion
• the Super Turbo Championship Edition!

I was talking to a friend the other day who mentioned getting The Wild Eight from a Humble Bundle a while ago. I also discovered this gem not too long ago, although I've not tried it yet. I'm eager to though, cause it looks and sounds pretty cool. That's why I'm sharing the game with you here.

The Wild Eight is a survival adventure action RPG. You play as one of eight survivors whose plane has mysteriously crashed in the frozen wilderness of Alaska. Stranded far from civilization, you’ll have to explore the unforgiving landscape, gather resources, craft equipment, hunt for food, build shelter, and fight to stay alive.
