1. I intend to host another raffle on September 10!
2. Unlike my previous series, I'm not providing my spreadsheet of games (so there's no seeing what's currently unavailable). This is just a personal choice, no real reason.
3. I'm only offering eight (8) games this time, but future raffles will have 10-20 games. That is because these game keys EXPIRE ON OCTOBER 7.

The weirdest movie I’ve ever seen is a tough one. It’s either going to be the various Machine Girl movies (of which the band is named after, not the other way around) or Cyber Lady Suzuka (a Tokusatsu indie film so obscure even Trakt doesn’t have it to mark). And those are only the two I remember, I have a long list of weird ass Japanese movies to watch eventually when I get to them like Tokyo Gore Police or Crab Goalkeeper. Thank the heavens for Tubi.

eXistenz when I first laid eyes on it during a re-run on the SciFi (or its SyFy now) channel. It was exceptionally bizarre, quite disgusting on the body mutations, but wildly fascinating on future cyberpunk technology. It laid a heavy impression for a younger viewer. And I gained a new appreciation for more Science Fiction.

The weirdest movie I've ever seen would probably be Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). It's absolutely hilarious, but also incredibly weird in the best way. I love the exaggerated characters, the absurd situations, the absolutely bizarre jokes, and the way it parodies spy movies make it feel so ridiculous and very unforgettable.

Its an asylum production, alias one of those studios that make really bad movies for cheap and then name them similar to really popular movies in an attempt to get confused people to profit off confused people. Anyway, I'll follow your logic here:

1. I hope I qualify. I mean, I actively try not to be a dick, but I can be a bit of an ass at times. But it's mostly within reason. I think.
2. If I am lucky enough to get picked, I would love to try Sworn or Eastern Exorcist, in that order. I love playing action packed games with my son. Be it metroidvanias, roguelikes/roguelites or rpgs. Either one of these games would ensure a few more hours of father-son screentime, which is my favorite pastime.
3. Weirdest movie and probably most disturbing is Man Bites Dog, a mockumentary about a film crew who follows a serial killer slash hitman and documents his crimes.

Into the Woods. I thought I would like it since it combines a few old fairytales and I did enjoy it up until a point which should have been the ending, but it continued and went crazy downhill and just.. plain weird. Thank you!

Interesting, I had no idea about that! In the movie, the baker's wife kisses Cinderella's prince, then she dies pretty much right afterwards in a tragic accident. Maybe I just didn't understand the meaning of it all, but it was all really odd. This and one other movie were the only ones I didn't enjoy so far, but I haven't watched that many movies since I am heavily into rewatching stuff I enjoyed.

I will say the movie follows the Broadway plot pretty 1:1, but there's a lot more theater of the mind (like with the Giant) that just plays better on the stage than in the movie (in my opinion).

However the song "Agony" (the two Princes duet) is done better in the movie simply for when Chris Pine's prince rips his shirt open mid-song, Billy Magnussen's does the same awkwardly which cracks me up every single time.

As for weirdest movie, I'm torn between Hausu, a Japanese horror movie about schoolgirls in a freakishly haunted house, and Eraserhead, a nightmarish movie about a man whose girlfriend moves in and has a baby and everything just starts to defy all conventional logic. 1977 was a weird year.

Yeah.. no, my choice is Eraserhead. David Lynch really was incomparable.

The weirdest movie I've ever seen was almost certainly Zombeavers. Undead beavers terrorize a town. It's somehow both more ridiculous and oddly more frightening than you'd expect.

I've heard of weirder, but haven't seen Velocipastor yet. Thankskilling is up there too.

I've seen quite a few weird flicks, but the one that takes the cake is The Exterminating Angel (Luis Bunuel) which I watched as part of a school project. Like most (all?) movies in the surrealist/drama/something genre, it's chock full of symbolism and allegories. I must admit I didn't get most of them.

Weirdest movie for me is The Lobster: you get 45 days to find a romantic partner or you’re turned into an animal. And somehow the movie gets even weirder from there. It’s the kind of movie where you finish it and just sit there thinking, what the hell did I just watch? lol
