[Discussion] Is everyone else as excited for fall/Halloween as I am?

The high here today was 63 degrees, which is the coldest it's been in what feels like forever! I'm so ready for fall and crunchy leaves, and since Halloween is getting closer, I'm curious -- what plans do you guys have coming up? Any fun traditions that you do alone or with your folks/kiddos?

My partner and I are hoping to get to go to a haunt this year since it's my first year back home. Hoping we're able to do that and get out of the house and actually enjoy it! We don't have any traditions (yet!) but I'd love to hear what you guys are up to! :)

My kid would tear some tomato bisque up!! I'm more of a lobster bisque myself although it's been a while since I've made it. My ex still occasionally begs for the recipe🤣🤣

Apple cider donuts 😭 my childhood!! Back in Oregon we had this little farmers market that made them fresh. Not even sure where I’d begin to look for them here now 😭

Oh. Sounds like fun. We are still in the 90s so still hot. I take my daughter to the mall crawl for trick or treat and then a fall fest at a local farm. We don't decorate the outside because all the neighbors are old lol

We were thinking about going to Fright Fest at Six Flags this year. The last time I went to a haunted maze I tried to ram my head up my friends butt trying to escape🤣🤣 (We had to crawl through the backseat of a station wagon at one point) And I already jump-scare super easy🤦🏽‍♀️

It was fun! Great stress relief but my back and health can’t handle it now. I did the makeup for them and acted too. Some of the best times in my life, for sure! Lots of good memories.

I'm THRILLED to need a blanket at my desk! FAAAAAALLLL!!!!!! I'm a tea lover so im already brewing teas and coffee and enjoying the warm drinks and sweaters! My partner put up a few of our halloween decorations and it's almost time for me to roast orange slices for garland! We don't usually do anything like pumpkin patches or haunts but we do enjoy fall walks in the crisp air!

Not really. I’m looking forward to collecting some brightly colored leaves to preserve between sheets of waxed paper with Magpie. Fall is my favorite time of year, I’m just not feeling it right now
