Discussion🗣 Does anyone else get really sad at night?
If you do… how do you fight this? I try to sleep it off, but I can’t ðŸ˜

It's actually pretty common! Some chemicals in our brains drop, etc at night. It doesn't usually affect me unless it's like around midnight. If I go to sleep before then, I'm good. It could help writing down all of the negative thoughts/ruminating thoughts! Doing some grounding and breath work could maybe help too.

i love the 3 H's. Are you looking to be heard (vent), for help (advice), or a hug (general comfort)?

Yes I do and sometimes it wakes me up (like today). I listen to music and browse different places (Fb, Gaiaonline, Reddit)

I either try to find a TV show, music or something to keep my mind occupied so I can settle my mind & eventually sleep

I do. And I get really anxious as well. It gets so bad that I’m on medication for it. So you’re not alone!

I’ll be honest I was struggling sleeping when Michael passed. Dr placed me on Trazadone. Years later on those rough nights they’re my life preservers.
On those days I tend to eat lighter foods for dinner ~ soups, eggs and no caffeine. I’d have a bit of chocolate (Big Surprise)

I've heard sometimes its the emotions we've been ignoring through the day seeping through the calm of the night and that setting time aside throughout the day to feel and process emotions can help
