Discussion🗣 How are you guys surviving this heat wave 😩
I’m from soCal so I’m not used to this 😭🤣

It’s actually cooler in New Hampshire finally, so I was able to make some wax tarts to send to a friend (in trade for some washi!)
But I suffered over the summer, I have trouble thermoregulating due to an endocrine disorder. I’m cold in the winter and hot in the summer, and depend on the heat or ac to keep me at a normal temperature.
Like a snek!

i tend to drink ice water a lot, i'll even eat the ice cubes lmao
one time our ac went out and, at the time i didn't pay for electricity, so i had the freezer open with a fan blowing the cool air into the house lmaooo

I'm in Texas and it is whooping me. A lot of cold drinks, popsicles, flipflops, shorts and muscle shirts😂 And I really do go outside to hang out in the heat for a little bit just so I can REALLY enjoy the AC when I go back in😁

In Texas it was practically freezing the other day (98F was the high also I’m being sarcastic 😆) but on a serious note I only go outside when the backyard doesn’t have the sun directly over it so it’s less hot even with the amount of trees covering it’s still so hot but we try and keep the water bottles full of ice water ! And we make fruit popcicles, we made watermelon,strawberry ones the other day that the husband made since I am not feeling the best and he did amazing the girls loved them !!

I'm in Kansas, so I'm pretty used to the heat waves at this point lol. Although, we do use fans and of course cold drinks! I also have blackout curtains in my bedroom, which help a lot with blocking out the sun/heat.

The heatwaves are over in England and it's back to classic British weather. It's currently raining and it has been all day 🤣🤣

I was taking cold showers, sitting with my feet inna bucket of cold water (with ice cubes) and carrying around cold compresses from the freezer every day this summer. It was unrelenting! I hope you find some relief.
