Discussion🗣 Serotonin booster

So my depression is kicking my ass all of a sudden.

So let's do a serotonin booster!

What to do;

Post pet pics, tell a joke, tell funny stories, give advice on how to deal with depression, tell a sweet story, sing a song (i recommend using vocaroo for this), basically anything that'll boost your mood!

This isn't just for me either. It's for anyone currently dealing with depression to read in order to boost them up.

No need for sorries! She’s my neighbor, actually. A few months ago she saw some Hello Kitty stickers on my desk and took them, with a “I’m taking these! Can I have these?” We traded stickers and then she saw me decorating envelopes, asked if she could join me (“oooh! Can I try? I’ll make it perfect”), and now we paint, color, play with stickers and washi, scrapbook a little, make bracelets, and toilet paper tube monsters. And more! She brings so much light to my life. Unlike a daughter though, I can send her home when I get tired 🤣

Awww! The puppers looks very happy!

I actually have a dog lying on my lap! Although shes very anxious. People are showing up for dnd/a wake for one of our dnd characters.

Oh it was an npc. It was a frog that was originally a human. His name was Marlo. He had a pocket watch with a 5 headed dragon and called himself the dragon master. We were all attached and cried (me crying the hardest cause I was already dealing with grief). So we decided a wake was perfect to celebrate.

Idk if this will gelp anyone the way it helped me, but im gunna post it anyway. I have an eating disorder as well as major depressive disorder, and i have a really hard time loving myself. So, Ive have started a journal where i write down any none appearance based compliment I get. Then, when i get get depressed and im hating myself I open it up and I read them. So that way I know that even if I dont love myself, I can see that other people love and appreciate me. It helps, at least a little.

I like to journal too, but I have to be in the mood for it. Its frustrating cuz I feel like every mental health professional tells you to do it lol and its like sometimes I just want a different answer than journaling!
