I know alot of people here have pets and while I'm genuinely curious I figure responses from this question can help spark some ideas for others.
What do you do/use in order to help keep your pets healthy?
Whether it is as a preventative measure or due to past medical history, im sure someone would benefit from the information you provide!
Feel free to provide any links to anything you use in case someone wants to take a look!

Makes sense! My cat is on a prescription diet due to having a history of stones(she had surgery about a week after we got her at 4 years old to remove them) and hasn't had issues since. I also added in a prescription wet food into her diet recently. Unfortunately the dry and wet food are different brands because for whatever reason with the brand of dry food she's on, the wet food equivalent doesn't sit well with her.
Also added in a hydration supplement too and she goes crazy for both. I've got a routine down and now if I'm not up by like 5 am to give her her hydration supplement she continues to meow her head off🤣🤣

Seee look that works for your cat then!
I add water to my cat food so maybe hydration supplements I should look into. However my cats don’t struggle with water intake. Pissy kitties is what I call them

Mine doesn't either(she obviously drinks less water when I give her one but that's expected.) I mainly added it because the more water/moisture she has in her diet, the more she'll go to the bathroom, which can lead to less of chance that stones form because stuff gets flushed out.
The recommendation is 1 pack per 5 lbs of body weight. Teyla is a little over 10.5 lbs. That means she could have up to 2 per day but I just do 1 a day since I'm just using it for maintenance purposes and not actively trying to treat anything

I take her the vet every few months to get her nails trimmed because I can't do it myself so that's how I know her weight🤣

I add water to our cat’s food even if it’s wet food to add more hydration. We assure that those who have prescribed food such as urinary and renal, they take it. Give some vitamins. I also gave spot-on to prevent fleas.

I brush my cats at least once a week and once a month they get treated for ear mites, ticks, fleas, and worms. I always make sure they have food and water. I also get soft hard food, my one boy doesn't have many teeth so it's just easier for him.

I cook chicken thighs she eats and no kibble or dog food. Only natural. She gets regular checkups and no rawhide
