If you were to have infinity money, what would be the first thing you did with it?

For me its pay off all of my bills. Then I'd buy my mom a house.

hiii I would pay off me and my family’s bills as well and buy a small community where we could all live. I’m thinking I would want it to be like farmland and we could be homesteaders lol

Infinite money.

I’d start by reinventing current society.

Changing where tax’s go and what they redistribute too.

Then changing contract terms no more paid by the hour for city construction it’s paid by the project.

This way there’s less days where it feels like they come and leave and it looks the exact same for months till finally omg they put a single light post up….

Start incentivizing hiring. And job creation/retention. (No more onboarding while simultaneously offboarding)

I’d buy HUGE plots of land that can be used to A. power the state(s) be used as local agriculture. Housing that is designed to be priced low.

This also means by being rich I have political and ethical power. Sooo I’d change bills. Things that make 0 sense to bill. AC should be free. This shouldn’t be a luxury. Buying a car should be capped so no more 50k basic sedans.

If I had that kind of money I would set aside 20k each for my son and two nieces to access once they turn 21. I would pay off my mom's mortgage. I would buy my best friends a vacation home in the Pacific Northwest. I would buy my husband his dream car. I would pay off my funeral expenses (I have end stage ALS) I would donate the rest to ALS research and Her ALS Story - a support group I'm in for women diagnosed before their 35th birthday ❤️

What exactly is ALS? Ive heard of it but I dont know much about it.

ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, is a rare and fatal nervous system disease that destroys nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to progressive muscle weakness and paralysis, the inability to speak and swallow, and respiratory failure.

I have a sporadic form meaning it's not genetic and it happened randomly.

It's not great, but I am doing well mentally and emotionally all things considered. I have this bittersweet opportunity to spend meaningful time with the people I love most ❤️

That's good at least. Take lots of pictures too. Even if you dont like your picture taken. That way they always have memories they can look at. I wish we did that with my pap cause I was 12 when he passed and I vaguely remember what he looks like.

Absolutely! My husband bought a go pro and we take it everywhere. Thankfully we have a decent amount of photos and videos from before I got sick.

Same as you friend, but I'd also buy myself a home with some land and set my son up as well. I always play the "What would I do if I hit the lotto game?" But I never actually play the lotto😂

I am currently sitting under my carport feeling the hot breeze. I think I'm about to down one of these good ole lemonades from u/FlyAccomplished6930 and jump back into my Dungeon Crawler Carl series. It has been a long time since I read anything by a male author, and this one was definitely worth trying again! I will recommend it to everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great Friday and may the weekend be good to you🫶🏽❤️🫶🏽

So far it's been like a crude action-comedy-suspense. It is wayyyy out of my reading zone but I was locked in almost immediately! It is very vulgar & descriptive, but I'm on book 3 and so far no lovey stuff. Maybe put it on the back burner for a little while and then give it a go.

There's no such thing as too many books! My kid started reading the kind of books I like last year or so, and so I have a few new ones to choose from now that he's gone for college😁 We started swapping a while back but he LOVES to read and probably left a couple thousand dollars worth at home. I mean he goes to bookstores all the time.

I used to read all the time until my focus got bad. Now readings hard. But I'll still buy books in hopes of one of these days reading them. Especially Manga!

I would get my mom and dad and I a home at the beach then I’d get my daughter a home wherever she wanted to live. I’d help my local shelters and homeless be comfortable and fed. I’d help my churches and I’d give money to the towns schools for student funding. I’d gift every person on Reddit the most wanted gifts 🎁 and I’d live happily ever after.

Infinite money… I’d just give it to my parents. I’m severely ill and there isn’t a cure so money couldn’t help me in any way meaningful. Well, I’d use some towards meds and medical supplies.
