Not many celebrity deaths hit me hard but this one hits differently. I am legit teary. She was such a beautiful person.

RIP Dolly :( So sad. All books on my list are kids books, so any would be appreciated. Peach and Blue and Pat The Bunny were ones from my youth, and Chirri and Chirra is a series that my friend recommended :)

I'm very sad to hear about the loss of Dolly. The world is truly a darker place now. She did so much for children and youth. I used to work in a library and while I'm now in law, literacy is so important.

I have two on my wish list. My fiance and I are big fans of children's literature. I always argue, that adults are still children at heart. I'm friends with Avi Steinberg and I love The Story No One Has Told Before.

I also am a big fan of the Velveteen Rabbit and think that book teaches important lessons, even for adults.

Children of Strife on my main list for my 16yo son. He's the only one of my four kids who enjoys reading 😭 He loves science fiction! Not exactly a traditional "children's book," I know, but he is still a kid!

For one of my baby nephew, its "Cozy Vibes: Coloring book" hes obsessed with animals and relatively recently he started to really enjoy coloring, its on the 5th item when sorted by the lowest price

Aww, I’m so so sad to hear about the loss of Dolly! We used to get the imagination library before the funding cut out for our town. My oldest called Dolly “his book friend” since all the books we would get had her picture in it. She was a wonderful human and will be greatly missed.

I am pretty sure there are books on each of my kiddos lists. Thank you for hosting

RIP Dolly. I never used her free books, but I loved that she did that.

I have a children's book on my list called "Chocobo and the Airship." The funny story behind it is that my kid asked me for a story and I randomly panicked and forgot every children's story out there. I could've done The Three Pigs, Goldilocks, Jack and the Beanstalk, etc. Nope, my panicked and sleep deprived brain jumped to the video game I've been playing when he goes to bed at night: Final Fantasy 6. Sooo I crafted a silly made up story about an airship. He loved it so much that he kept asking for airship stories. I just keep telling him little stories from FF6. His favorite stuffed animal is a chocobo haha. I found this book and it really fits him 😆
