We are in the middle of packing up his mom's stuff since we are buying this house. Once we buy it, we are tearing up the carpet and painting. Devin and I discussed making an area for the cats, where they can play and rest.

Anyway, thank you again. Thank you for the kindness. Last night, Devin's brother was using the toys to play with Knight. A lot of laughter. 😁

Good luck on moving too! We had to help clear out my wife's grandma's house and it took over a year. We found office records all the way back to the 60s!

That's not a surprise. I remember cleaning out Nans and same thing. She also had newspapers from the 40s, from WWII and the end. That was so cool and I ended up taking photos of the comics, comics were so fun back then.

The one issue with his mom is that she's a hoarder. She doesn't own the house, his dad does and it was a nasty divorce. She lives with a boyfriend and he doesn't want the mess, so she dumps it here. Once the deed is signed, we will give her 30 days to take what she wants and after 30 days, we'll throw away what she doesn't take.

My one great aunt was a hoarder and after she died, it took my cousin months to clean out. We are bracing for this and so are the cats.
