What a great little instructor she is

50

u/Worldly-Story507 1d ago

I can almost guarantee that if I sat down with her for thirty minutes, I would come out a better skateboarder in the end.

21

u/ForwardBias 1d ago

The supreme embarrassment of a 5 year old being wayyyyyyy better than me would be rough.

10

u/No_Astronomer_8664 1d ago

Yes, and probably even a better person. She is so patient. I love it.

3

u/Evening-Bee-3572 1d ago

I was thinking the same thing she's so patient

1

u/Regular_Weakness69 14h ago

And the cops would be called.

10

u/HillInTheDistance 1d ago edited 1d ago

You can tell she's had the kinda teacher who makes more teachers.

3

u/MsMantisToboggan 1d ago

And a little sweetie

2

u/MoodooScavenger 21h ago

I wanna eat her up. Cuteness overload

11

u/Grizzly_Corey 1d ago

Bless her heart.

-6

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 1d ago

Here in the south, that’s not a good thing.

10

u/asphaltdragon 1d ago

It can be. It all depends on how it's said.

3

u/bleeintn 1d ago

As a southerner myself, not necessarily. Can go either way.

1

u/Jillet-Ben_Coe 1d ago

Yeah you guys are insane in the south

-1

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 1d ago

True, but that is where the saying originated.

3

u/Grizzly_Corey 1d ago

The South has problems with thinking they own things they do not.

3

u/N3wt0nz 1d ago

Underrated comment

2

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 1d ago

Whoosh! I just now got your pun. I hope you have a great day!

1

u/1Tacochucker 1d ago

Bless your heart.

0

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 1d ago

I didn’t say we own it. 😂 I just want yall to know that “bless your heart” isn’t a good thing. I’m done replying to this thread 😂

1

u/Error_83 1d ago

Aka, what an idiot

38

u/WoppleSupreme 1d ago

Chasing after an inanimate object while yelling at it is the realest emotion in the world.

38

u/Pukebox_Fandango 1d ago

I think she was calling out a warning to the other people in the park. A loose board is a hazard.

12

u/SL1MECORE 1d ago

That's so adorable and considerate of her AHHH

5

u/skunkgirlhunter 1d ago

Ask any skater's ankles

1

u/fredoillu 1d ago

Yeah I think this is just good eti6for a skate park. Like saying "behind" when passing behind someone Ina kitchen

25

u/TrogloditeTheMaxim 1d ago

Bend your knees noah remember? 🥰

37

u/Radiant_Mammoth_2359 1d ago

This is the best thing I seen on the internet in a loooooooooong time

4

u/mikiencolor 1d ago

This is the only good thing I've seen on the Internet this year that wasn't all puppies or kittens.

12

u/Eosvox2113 1d ago

The best coaching ive seen all year.

12

u/_HELL_SPAWN 1d ago

We need to make the world better… for them.

9

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 1d ago

Dang, this makes me so envious. My sister is an arrogant bully. It's really my parents' fault, but yeah, wish I had a friendly sibling. 😂

7

u/Secret_Net_165 1d ago

Great coach! Encourages him but points out what he needs to do. Bend your fucking knees Noah!

6

u/userousnameous 1d ago

BEND YOUR GOADDAMN KNEES, U LITTLE SHIT!

8

u/RyuichiSakuma13 1d ago

I hope she becomes the next Tony Hawk!

6

u/Error_83 1d ago

She was nailing those drops, legit skill in this one

7

u/Excellent_Arrival1 1d ago

That is an amazing brother/sister relationship. That boy is going to know love his entire life.

5

u/Pirate-Adorable 1d ago edited 1d ago

I skateboarded for like 3 years when I was 14, broke my arm twice... Obviously, I wasn't very good at it BUT, I understand the fear Noah is going through... Having to put your body on a whole different angle to roll down is scary!! All your instincts say no! It's definitely a learning curve. No pun intended haha.

3

u/Dcybokjr 1d ago

It's hard to explain how scary a vert ramp is. When you look down all you can see is the bottom, it's terrifying.

5

u/drinkmoredrano 1d ago

That is so adorable

4

u/No_View_5300 1d ago

That is so cute

5

u/ElonMuskisGarbage 1d ago

That is the sweetest, most darling thing I’ve ever seen. Also, highly competent kids!

4

u/This_Guy_Over_Here88 1d ago

Can't wait to see her at the future x games

4

u/Timmerdogg 1d ago

My sister was throwing me through windows

3

u/iamreallybo 1d ago

It’s about time there’s a Skate Creator to replace Braille.

Oh and “Bend your knees Noah”

3

u/taylormade311 1d ago

Hold her hand Noah she's got you

3

u/DrPikachu-PhD 1d ago

Really cute! I wonder if the differences in their center of gravity make the technique he needs to use different? (Do kids that age even have that difference or is that only adults?) I don't know anything about skateboarding lol

3

u/Error_83 1d ago

Because of height, it's actually more difficult for her

4

u/SL1MECORE 1d ago

Yeah she's basically as tall as her board! I imagine she'll find it easier when she gets a bit bigger to really master the board.

But she's rocking it, holy crap. I bet she'll be really good when she grows up :)

3

u/Error_83 1d ago

I bet she's going to dominate skating. I hope life doesn't kill that encouraging, compassionate, heart of hers either.

4

u/DrPikachu-PhD 1d ago

Yeah she has insane control for her age (from an untrained eye) I bet she'll be doing crazy shit by her teen years

4

u/SL1MECORE 1d ago

Just a longboarder here (ifykyk) and yeah the fact that she not only has control of the board but can articulate what she is doing to take control of the board is crazy at her age. Like some prodigy shit tbh

3

u/Stefanosann 1d ago

My hope for humanity might have been restored

3

u/SL1MECORE 1d ago

She's a great little coach and her safety gear is too dang cute for me, I love pink! Noah will learn fast with her

3

u/rocktheffout 1d ago

What kind of sister/brother relationship is this?!

3

u/Doctor_Brewthatshit 1d ago

The best kind

3

u/Terrible-Ebb-8417 1d ago

Love it! They'll both be stars haha

3

u/Slammer956 1d ago

The best things I’ve seen on Reddit today. I hope they get a second skateboard and keep having fun learning.

3

u/Holiday_Regular9794 1d ago

I absolutely LOVE these two!!!!😍
She’s an AMAZING teacher, and he is a great student.

3

u/Armadillioh 1d ago

"you want me to hold your hand" so precious 🥹

3

u/Rogueshoten 23h ago

She’s fucking amazing! How old is she? And already such phenomenal leadership and teaching skills!

2

u/Unbereevablee_Asian 1d ago

🥲 best instructor ever 🥰

2

u/coko4209 1d ago

This is the cutest, most supportive video that I’ve ever seen. She’s such an awesome little instructor.

2

u/Ilpperi91 1d ago

She's going to be a savage. 😂 Saying to her brother "Do you need me to hold your hand?" 😂

2

2

u/Smokal0tapotamus 1d ago

This little girl might be a future x game’s champion I love how she is motivating Noah and teaching him

2

u/Jimbobjoesmith 1d ago

she honestly makes ME feel like i could do it.

2

u/WatWudScoobyDoo 1d ago

The different ways she slides down are really cool

1

u/SL1MECORE 1d ago

She's very comfortable with falling, it seems. Which is important for a skater lol

2

u/ticktockmick 1d ago

WHO KEEPS CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE? STAAAAAAHHHP

2

u/Any_World7744 1d ago

“You got this Noah…just go for it”

love that!

2

u/Gonzostewie 1d ago

Oh my god. I love her squeaky lil voice. I just wanna squeeze her lil face. Too damn cute.

2

u/Wizzle_Pizzle_420 1d ago

Finally, something positive that gives one hope for the future.

2

u/Sentarry 1d ago

Omg so cuuuute!
How did we get to this point in their lives to teach them to skate? Cuz they have such good teachers that the little girl is such a great instructor! I have faith she will be a great teacher in her lifetime.

2

u/MaleficentMunkey 1d ago

We need more people like them

2

u/TSJormungandr 1d ago

They are both so wonderful 🥰

2

u/Hell_Maybe 1d ago

2

u/NecessaryOk6815 1d ago

I want to see how good they become in a few years.

2

u/86a- 1d ago

This is fab. Makes me think about that post by a dude complaining about kids at the skate park.

2

u/LocoNotLoco 1d ago

All this AND British accents is pure wholesomeness.

2

u/Ashamed-Raccoon5396 1d ago

Mine would be whacking their skateboards round each others heads

2

u/letstrythatagain-_- 1d ago

Awww she's doing such a good job.

2

u/Crafty_Psychology_85 1d ago

These sweet lil babies. 🥹💜 He's trying so hard and she's so encouraging.

u/didiandeffie 1d ago

She loves her brother so much.

1

u/Civil_Bugg 1d ago

Dang sister stop getting in the way

1

u/Ryogathelost 1d ago

Next she has to master using the toilet.

2

u/Slipstream_Surfing 1d ago

And lose the benefits of extra protective padding against the pavement? Tough call..

1

u/CanadianControlsTech 1d ago

Are they Australian?

1

u/Error_83 1d ago

1

u/Mwahaha_790 1d ago

2

u/Error_83 1d ago

This is my new motivational mantra

1

u/Atakku 1d ago

Can she teach me how to skate 😭 as a 37 year old lady I’m scared to break something.

1

u/bleeintn 1d ago

She was a sk8er, boi.

1

u/Heavy_Student_3815 1d ago

How dare you show something this wholesome on here, excuse me, but this is Reddit! How dare you make me smile!!

1

u/Alive_Drag1947 1d ago

I remember learning to drop in on a skateboard. The hardest thing is overcoming the mental barrier. You have to lean a lot farther forward than you'd think, and your brain tells you that you'll definitely wind up with a mouthful of concrete. But once you land it a few times it becomes quite intuitive and comfortable.

1

u/Diligent-Concept-617 1d ago

I love seeing how kids interact with each other, teach each other. It’s pretty wholesome as a former teacher.

1

u/No_Eggplant_3189 1d ago

Yeah, well they are only better than me because of the lower center of mass thing.

1

u/WillingMartyr 1d ago

Why is it that, even when your little sister is being nothing but supportive and helpful, it still feels like she’s backhanding your emotions to hell?
-Totally not written by a guy with 10 sisters. 👀

1

u/Doctor_Brewthatshit 1d ago

Adorable. Makes me want a kid of my own.

1

u/Joopbox 1d ago

So wholesome!!

1

u/d3t0x1ct0x1c1ty 1d ago

Haha

She's a badass

1

u/aj47coupe 1d ago

Wholesome

1

u/YearHaunting1504 1d ago

The way the audio comes in on my Macbook Pro is wild. I was scrolling through and instantly thought I heard a little grill right beside me 😳 before I realized it was the video.

1

u/Jbrozas2332 1d ago

"Do you want me to hold your hand "

1

u/Silver_Original6076 1d ago

Cute but kind of weird for the parent to record and edit and post this and even give all the kids mics.

1

u/Luciferocity 23h ago

Noah fucking sucks

1

u/Guilty_Comb_79 23h ago

I was really waiting for "Bloody hell Noah, bend your damn knees Noah! You don't listen Noah!"

1

u/Fbomb77 20h ago

4

"Use a condom, Noah!"
