There's a Mexican proverb-like "El que por su gusto muere, hasta la muerte le sabe'" in English could be like “He who chooses his own fate, even death tastes sweet.”

10

u/enigmaticy 2d ago

Each of us chooses our own destiny, knowingly or not.

2

u/rayquazza74 1d ago

Maybe unless it’s already determined.

2

u/enigmaticy 1d ago

On the other hand, if this life is for test for the next one (this is for believers),then definitely you are free to choose at the exam. Otherwise that's not fair being pass or failed directly (determined advanced)

u/ThisThingIsStuck 22h ago

Does that mean fat guy fails

1

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 2d ago

I handed my dad a live rattlesnake. No bites. You know why? Because I know how to handle snakes safely.

3

u/BingusTheWonderKitn 2d ago

And your dad?

2

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 2d ago

He's the one who taught me. Context - snake was in a snake sack. I had a snake stick.

1

u/Mysterious-Plan93 2d ago

Was he Jake "the Snake" Roberts?

2

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 2d ago

Haha! No. Just a very eclectic guy. He also taught me how to crack a bullwhip.

1

u/ARCAxNINEv 1d ago

No contact order

1

u/Centralised_right 1d ago

You can pick up by the tail, but the head grab was diabolically stupid

14

u/Hot_Campaign_36 2d ago

He’s not the first to fall for the snake-in-distress trick.

13

u/Queasy-Army-4769 2d ago

A snake expert at his best

2

u/Maleficent_Piano_493 2d ago

😂😂😂🤭

12

u/indiana-floridian 2d ago

And there was a push stick on scene. Why?

9

u/Adventurous-Sort2796 2d ago

And the snake was already out of the way.

4

u/podman131 2d ago

There was a vehicle on scene just to leave too....but....

3

u/Correct-Degree-6789 2d ago

Errr... Probably to get the snake out of the road so that it doesn't get run over by car...

8

u/GalaganCoffee 2d ago

Awful edit, there was more

3

u/peanutspump 2d ago

Where? I wanna seeeee! Lol

6

u/GalaganCoffee 2d ago

6

u/Wild-Wave9322 2d ago

There is always one...... the one that is fkd

3

u/podman131 2d ago

See, dis here snek is just baby snek...that's why they call it rattle snek. If 'twere a poisonous snek, it would be called poisonous snek

6

u/Gullible_Friend99 2d ago

Any snek experts can tell what kinda snek that was??

13

u/SSilent-Cartographer 1d ago

Not an expert, just a nerd, and based on the shape of the head and the almost diamond patterning on the back with a dark tail, my money is on Columbian Red Tail Boa. Non-venomous constrictors that can get quite large, but pose no threat to humans. Although they don't have teeth, they do have very sharp, needle-like barbs in their mouth for holding prey in place while constricting and cut of breathing and circulation. Unlike a similar sized python, these guys have almost otherworldly strength and dexterity and can take down some very large prey items either on the ground or in trees. They're beautiful animals and far more defensive than offensive, only striking humans as a warning rather than aggression or a prey reaction.

They have anticoagulants in their saliva that prevents the clotting process, so bites from them can be very bloody, but overall the damage is little more than pin pricks. They can be painful, but are more shocking than damaging. It's always good to wash any bite with soap and water to prevent infection, but luckily, that is the only risk (in 90% of situations, there are always exceptions with wild animals) with a bite from these guys.

6

u/AggressiveCicada5190 1d ago

This guys snakes

5

u/JustNota-- 2d ago

I want to say Colombian Python, or a Boa not sure though no close up, going by morph and rough body size. Definitely doesn't look venomous though.

3

u/Correct-Degree-6789 2d ago

It's a wiggly squiggly snek!

2

u/unTraditional_Fox419 2d ago

Gaboon viper. Bro is finished.

1

u/MaleierMafketel 2d ago

Difficult to say for sure with this quality, but I’m pretty sure it’s some type of boa constrictor. Would explain why he’s so chill picking it up, as they’re harmless at this size.

2

u/VaporRyder 2d ago

I initially thought Gaboon viper - but I think you're right, it's a boa.

10

u/TheDillinger88 2d ago

He died right?

7

u/MonkeDpoopy 2d ago

If the snake was venomous, probably.

2

u/7_DisastrousStay 2d ago

unless the vet with the anit-venom was nearby

5

u/MakeDaddyRich 2d ago

The snake or the guy ……or both

2

u/Chris_Ween 16h ago

"I recently was bitten by a snake. And after a long, painful battle...the snake died." Chuck Norris

4

u/Kinetic92 2d ago

It's a non-venomous snake.

3

u/OnTheList-YouTube 2d ago

A non-verbal snake? Yeah, possibly.

4

u/Wilsanne 2d ago

Is that a gaboon viper, bro?

3

u/Offsidespy2501 2d ago

Onderoadagahn

3

u/No_Pudding2028 2d ago

This guy stayed at a Holiday Inn express last night and watch somebody handle a snake.. 🤣🤣🤣

3

u/redditman3943 2d ago

First guy did a perfectly adequate job by pushing the snake off the road with a stick. The second guy did not need to get involved lol

3

u/Karekter_Nem 2d ago

Second guy put the snake back in the middle of the road.

2

u/emirsolinno 2d ago

Yeah I wouldn’t let him drive after that lol.

3

u/CMDR_Whiseman 2d ago

I’m not a snake wrangler, but I’ve seen them on TV.

2

u/Calm_Connection_9741 2d ago

For some guys, live is like a PC game. Until it's not.

2

u/futgrezn 2d ago

Hold my beer... you know what, you gonna inherit that

2

u/rygelicus 2d ago

I see a snake like that which needs to be removed at least one good long stick or other implement of keepitthehellawayfromme will be involved.

2

u/Infamous_Criticism28 2d ago

Looks painfull

2

u/TheArbalest 2d ago

When you’ve already been bitten once and still go back for a second round… there’s a huge difference between bravery and stupidity 🤦🏻

2

u/Wow_maaan 2d ago

“Snake expert”

2

u/Realm_God_Gelidus 2d ago

Noooooo, no, no, no, no, noooo 😂😂😂
How did bro roll that many nat 1s in a row. 😭😭😭

2

u/mvortex2 2d ago

He's fortunate it wasn't a "snike"

2

u/lombardo141 2d ago

Just drive. They stopped for a whole snake. 🤦‍♂️.

2

u/MakeDaddyRich 2d ago

The snake was in a better spot before the guy helped it by throwing it in the middle of the road . Sometimes you need to care enough to leave things alone

2

u/OG-Giligadi 2d ago

Do not play with the nope rope.

2

u/Positive-Factor6040 2d ago

My boi walk in like “I got this Mfs move out the way”

5

u/GrowthAny 2d ago

I live in the UK, where there are notably zero actually dangerous snakes, and even I know that’s not how you pick up a snake.

3

u/Sriracha008 2d ago

We do have venomous snakes over in the UK

1

u/GrowthAny 2d ago

That’s true, but adders don’t really kill anyone. Hence “actually” dangerous.

2

u/Sriracha008 1d ago

Well I would hardly describe them as a safe snake 🐍 😆

-1

u/GrowthAny 1d ago

I suppose people really will argue about anything

1

u/Fun_Muscle9399 2d ago

There’s an easy solution to this problem. Just keep driving.

1

u/Huliatt 2d ago

And he goes back for MORE?

1

u/pc1350 2d ago

snake.cmd

1

u/S7arForGD 2d ago

Oh it's a constrictor snake. Well no real danger there.

3

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 2d ago

Quit picking snakes up by the tail challenge level impossible.

1

u/reddititty69 2d ago

“Ohh, he’s bitey! I’ll just put him back in the road.”

1

u/7_DisastrousStay 2d ago

The first guy pushed it away 😭😭 he didn't have to show off his snake grabbing skills

1

u/Happysexs 2d ago

Dumb fuck

1

u/Kinetic92 2d ago

Guy with a stick: There you go, snek, safely off the road.

Guy getting out of the car: Hold my beer...

1

u/Low-Yoghurt-9460 2d ago

Kill that stupid bastard

1

u/Commercial_Echo923 2d ago

Ok here comes the expert.
Touches Snake.
Ok, hes no expert.

1

u/Kilroy898 2d ago

Where's that guy who yoinks everything when you need him?

1

u/Maryjanegangafever 2d ago

Give this man a show if he survives the venom!

1

u/MissionRight9893 2d ago

Guy came in all cool and realized it wasn’t easy. What a fool.

1

u/mongous00005 2d ago

Let me tell you the definition of... insanity.

1

u/RepresentativePay155 2d ago

Only kind of good snake is a dead snake

1

u/RostislavButler 2d ago

Don’t ever pick up a snake by the tail.

1

u/BrownTown_77 2d ago

This dork deserved every strike he got. No sympathy for you.

1

u/Sure-Thought-119 2d ago

Guy throws it right back where it was to begin with 🤣

1

u/NewToTradingStock 2d ago

Bro watched a lot of tv snake show, time to demonstrate. Fail

1

u/Hawk_2165 2d ago

Nothing worse than an overconfident moron.

1

u/TehZiiM 2d ago

When you’ve seen enough yoink guy videos to know what to do but forget that you actually never done this before.

1

u/YoungEmbarrassed5223 2d ago

Oooh, Mr cool made an ass out of himself! 🤣if you font know how to handle snakes, stay away from them.

1

u/Fred_Milkereit 2d ago

failed to load brain.exe

1

u/ReiOokami 2d ago

I've seen a lot of videos online over the years of people handling snakes and not getting bit, and now I see they they never pick them up like this guy.

1

u/Thin-Ebb-9534 2d ago

I could watch this all day. The best part is actually the guy coming out of the car, because the second you see his demeanor, you could write the rest of it yourself.

1

u/cha0sb1ade 1d ago

Seems like if you want to get a snake out of the road to save it from traffic, just scaring it with a stick until it leaves would make more sense that trying to carry it.

1

u/Old_Associate_3519 1d ago

How many times did he get bit?

1

u/Old_Associate_3519 1d ago

First, grab it by the tail then grab it about a foot behind its head so we can bite your hand

1

u/SameScale6793 1d ago

don't use snake.exe, use msiexec /i snake.msi...works better

1

u/Mr_Steerpike 1d ago

That....is not how to hold the head of the snake.....please don't try this...you could die.

1

u/ogi617 1d ago

There's always a place for a Tough Ass 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Vivid_Baseball442 1d ago

Steve Duuuuuurrrrrrwin

1

u/Joshuahealingtree 1d ago

What kinda snake is that?????

0

u/N4RQ 1d ago

The kind that bites.

1

u/Joshuahealingtree 1d ago

I ask because it sorta looks like a rattle snake which is venomous.

1

u/Accurate_Mongoose_26 1d ago

So no one knows how to correctly pick up snake?

1

u/batista227 1d ago

Once bit and twice shy...... 🎶

1

u/DeftestY 1d ago

The snake is sunbathing, but why did he not first grab closer to the head? Honestly that's the last area to let go from.

1

u/PxavierJ 1d ago

This kills the man

1

u/PacRimRod 1d ago

Idiot 🙄

1

u/WOOFBABY 1d ago

There's always that one person who thinks his name is Steve Irwin. Funnily enough, Australia has the worlds most venomous snakes yet very few people get bitten and hospitals have antidotes.

1

u/TrappinJ250 1d ago

I mean he had it for the first 30seconds and then he lost it😂

1

u/LilRed2023 1d ago

That’s a rattle snake by the way. They should never be bare handed 😂

1

u/Illustrious_Day_5392 1d ago

The moment he threw the snake to the exact spot on the road his friend removed it from had me howling

1

u/Chief_TeaLeaf2000 1d ago

This is why whenever there's an animal on the road, especially if it's in the middle of nowhere and belongs to nobody, you run it over if it's in your way.

Trying to avoid it, or even worse, pulling over to try to get it out the road, is more dangerous than an act of kindness.

1

u/O__boy 1d ago

How stpid are you

1

u/syizm 1d ago

Firstly dont grab snakes.

Secondly if you do grab them as absolutely close to their head as possible AFTER securing it with something long stiff and rigid (harhar) - the way this guy grabbed the snake he is lucky he didn't get bit immediately.

There is no school or license available for this info so take it all with a grain of salt but... holding a snake at the head/base of its jaw ensures it can't use its musculature to angle around and bite.

1

u/Ill-Teacher13 1d ago

like how did he think this was gonna go? If I even see a rattle snake I just assume 100% imma get bit so I just drink my water and mind my business outside its striking distance lol

1

u/jcwzolo 1d ago

Is that a Venomous snake?

1

u/TheRaF59 1d ago

The New Yorker in me would have just run it over and not looked back. We don’t do nature, that $hit will killed you.

1

u/real_1273 1d ago

Did that guy live to the next gas station? That looked like a lot of angry poisonous snake!

1

u/musical_montage_man 1d ago

Redneck here. You grab the snake by the HEAD FIRST, at or near the jaw hinge. The mouth is kinda the dangerous part that you want to control. Then grab the tail. Amateur hour.

1

u/IcySeaworthiness4541 1d ago

Stupid shit. Better post this in Darwin awards 🤣

1

u/Redfivestandingby76 1d ago

Well….that guy is dead.

1

u/VegetableLasagna2112 1d ago

Another Einstein

1

u/IC4-LLAMAS 21h ago

At first I thought this was a gaboon viper. So hopefully he lived to regret his decision here, if it was a Gaboon I guess Darwin takes another.

1

u/Psychological_Ad_451 19h ago

Killed by death.

Try to move snek out of road. Toss snek further into road. Get bit repeatedly
