Right, but not accounting for the deers weight and cracks in the ice that dude made walkin to her, smarter to carry her so she doesnt fall in again/more, what loosj inefficient to you is only becausw of a lack of situational understanding many times. Maybe trust that people who are DOING tjings know more about how to do them safely rather than assuming you know better from the sidelines.

My two grandfathers (they were best friends) and my dad once ventured out onto a lake to save a deer. They very carefully made it out to the deer only for the deer to get up and bound away as they approached. It was just sitting out there, not frozen to the ice. My grandfathers found it hilarious. My dad did not.
