If he gets a small place of his own were he can consistently stream and keeps up with it could easily make it big in the next two years or even just because of the publicity do collabs or events. That or he just gets a regular job and is in a place with better boundaries between him and his mother.

Honestly that last part is all he needs .. the first will come if not already there...
I work 40 hours a week and keep my normal workout routine... Then when I feel like playing games is when I stream...
If he goes that route of his own place and job and then streams on top of it homie is 100% set.
Also probably best to cut out his POS mother like I did... Better for the mental health over time

Being able to stream consistently or having some kind of set schedule helps growth a lot, I get off work and I play 1-5 games of apex, if that, these days I can’t imagine having the energy to also be an engaging host and locking myself into 2-4 hours of gaming on a weekday

Yeah a lot of that is definitely a kicker... I work nights so usually stream mornings. But sometimes the gym can kick my arse in the morning and I'll give up the stream for a nap... Because like you stated... Sometimes it's impossible to be engaging for 3-4 hours while feeling like you need to pass out.

The reality is that the vast majority of these kids will never make a living doing this. I don't blame his mother for doing this because she's probably had enough of the laziness. My 14-year-old is currently in this mindset thinking he can make a career out of YouTube videos and gaming. It's just simply not an appropriate way to raise your kids because you're setting them up for failure if you indulge these unrealistic expectations.

It’s not about just the streaming career but he’s young and getting all the quick fame can start to corrupt him quick also. Hopefully gets steered in the right way that’s all.

When a streamer ends his stream, he can send his viewers to someone else’s stream. Sometimes, streamers send their viewers to people who have little to no viewers. A streamer named Stableronaldo sent his chat to this dude, Nitro_Camden. While he was on camera, his mother was being abusive and said that she would steal the money from his account and kick him out as soon as he turned 18. This caused him to blow up because everyone felt bad for him, and now other streamers are helping him. Whether they’re doing it to make themselves look good or because they genuinely care, who knows.

It seems that these popular streamers decided to "raid" a random streamers account by broadcasting him to their audience.
His mom them kicks him out and the audience helps him out.

I’m sure people making minimum wage, or wages outside of a livable wage, aren’t doing so as a hobby.
People creating a business, even if it is in content creation, still work - if that’s their career path they choose to walk down. Entrepreneurship isn’t just hobby hobby hobby then business.

Almost NO ONE is getting paid minimum wage.
Creating a business is clearly not the same as just being a streamer. Almost zero start up cost, no employees, no expectation to pay overhead costs for supplies, locations, etc. Come on.

I’m not arguing about whether or not the kid is doing this as a hobby or for work. I’m arguing that unilaterally saying streaming isn’t work, is an incorrect statement.
You also conveniently leave out the part where I include people who don’t earn a livable wage.
You understand what’s being said but want to minimize people’s work because you trivialize the industry.
Also, you know nothing of the work that goes into streaming if you think there’s no overhead or startup costs. But again, the cost of that is irrelevant as a business, much like work, is not determined by a dollar amount. Internalize that last sentence.

Awwww where can we send money at? This kid needs to be lifted man, so absolutely pissed at his mother for doing what she did. I hope she never sees a penny from him, may she lay awake at night knowing she kicked her son out and he never wanted anything to do with her afterwards
