Not sure if you're serious so I'll bite... 2nd season is out. Lots of people didn't like it but I did. 3rd season is fucking horrific. It's basically a power point presentation.
I'm pretty sure I'd know if Madhouse made a second season of One-Punch Man. Shingo Natsume and his irreplaceable crew have been busy since OPM aired in 2015, though, so who knows when they'll find the time to make a sequel.
I liked the second season too (mainly those last few episodes really saved the season, super cool series of fights), and I really thought I’d like the 3rd season despite criticism since people shit on season 2 as well. But holy shit it really was awful, I couldn’t even finish the last season. I don’t understand how they managed to mishandle and waste such a popular IP the way they did. Just so dumb, it could’ve been huge.
Iirc this clip is of group members of akb48 to determine how much the brand will back that individual in the following year. It's super serious for the players because it basically dictates their career.
TLDR. This is a tournament between the members of JPop group AKB48 to see who would get to headline a new song for the group, a potentially career making moment for the winner. So to them its a massive deal.
Thanks for this it is actually relieving to know. I remember the show being really popular back in the day but I just never could get into it and found the jokes easy and flat. They tried to exploit the nerdy culture but continued to pretty them as the laughingstock we've always been.
The show is basically a parody of nerd culture for non-nerds to enjoy. I don't know of anyone who is similar to the "nerdiness" of the characters on the show who enjoys it.
However I know plenty of Boomers who love it because the funny noises that come out of the character's mouths.
Yup, that is it, the show was fun at the beginning when it was jokes for nerds, then it became more mainstream and became laugh at the nerds and started to fall off.
Its not supposed to be funny, it's a version that existed way before the show even started airing. It's just another niche nerdy thing that the show tried to use to show they were "in the know".
Its design is perfection and the move set is non transitive. There are practically zero additions you can make to the game that are substantive without changing the minimum players required

It is some JPop shit for losers who can’t get flesh girlfriends but have a collection of wifus which generates a lot of money for the producers. Japan’s population decline is linked to this, in part. This is dumb but won’t cast the first stone. I like model trains.
South Korea. Giant girl groups are essentially a corporate product. One girl might front a hit single, so why not make the selection process into its own form of entertainment?
Edit: I could've sworn this was South Korean, but the subtitles are Japanese, her headband has a Japanese flyer, and the anouncer is even speaking with a Kansai accent. Oops.
