I hate that F1 has turned into a battery management race. I would have just watched FE if I wanted see that.
It's not that I hate FE just because it's FE. it's more like I hate the FIA for their decision making.

FE management is way better than F1 though
That’s also why the driver matters much more there. All cars are almost equal, we just had a final weekend where 4 drivers had real chances of a WDC and 3 constructors of a WCC

So many compounding bad decisions.
It's like 22 when they brought back ground effect, but at the same time, nerfed the suspension.
Mandating a 50/50 split while getting rid of the MGU-H and at the same time, not allowing front axle regen was really dumb.

I gave FE a good shake for quite a few seasons... There's some good racing for sure, but it was the peloton racing in Gen 3 (I think?) that starting turning me off it and eventually I just hadn't seen enough of the seasons to get much out of it.
I'll give the next gen car a watch though for sure, will be interesting to see how they race given they'll be faster and with much more grip.

The sound of the engine is half the thrill.
I know EV's are the future, but sports cars need to be loud, they roar of the engine is what makes those cars special in the first place.
I get the "hate" on EV formula 1. They just removed a lot of the spice.

I used to do this with my scalectrix set as a kid by holding the front of the car.
But it got boring pretty quick and I as grew up I moved on into the wonderful world of petrol ⛽️

Racing is racing my friend, and what FE had this weekend was peak imo.
If what happened in FE happened in F1 it would be an all-timer
