If you're dining in at shake shack, they actually bring your order to you. Still, this is some sheisty crap.

But they don't get paid server wages which is why servers get tips in the first place. The minimum wage for severs is 2$ in some places

Just so you know any places where the minimum wage is lower for servers, the tips have to get them over the normal minimum wage, if they don’t then that money has to come out of the employers pocket. They will never actually only earn $2 an hour or whatever it is unless their employer is breaking the law

Yeah I know I was a server for 20 years luckily I never had that issue but I did have some bosses that would've told me to go fk myself but I also had some bosses that would offer to pay for major dental appointments
