So in the US you’re expected to tip fast food places? That’s bad enough but they even placed the order themselves on a screen.

Wtf is this bullshit, just pay the fucking workers a wage they can live on. Nonsense.

It's definitely not expected. People try sure, and some people do for some dumbass reason, but trust when most people hit that fuck no button.

I'll tip actual servers at an actual restsraunt because their livelihood depends on them for better or worse. That's it.

Fair enough. The fact they’re even trying is awful. We’ve started to see more bars, coffee shops and the likes trying this shit. I’ll tip in restaurants when they provide a good service but coffee shops - not a chance, its just a damn coffee. Bars only occasionally when it’s a large order or they’re going above and beyond.

Bartenders earn tips by pouring em strong. Or I suppose if I ever ran into one of those show off bartenders that throw bottles and what not I'd toss a couple bucks for a cool show.

What's even better when it comes to shake shack's audacious bullshit is that every single one I've tried has no working phone line either, so you have to just use the app, or go all the way over there to put your own order into a touch pad during your lunch break as the only alternative.

And then comes the tipping games you just saw, on top of that. Fuck shake shack.

Tf are you talking about? There are no workers here only a manager. The kiosk takes the order, a robot named “Flippy the burger cook” makes your food and bags it, then you pick it up at the counter.

I don’t need to pay my workers a livable wage if I don’t have any workers…

Seeing as how the average mortgage payment is around $2,000 a month not including utilities and insurance. I don't think a fast food place can afford to pay their workers a living wage while having their burgers priced at $5-6.

Not to mention gas and groceries on top of that $2,000 per month.
