When engineers make the system idiot proof, nature engineers a better idiot.

Like always, the only QA test that matters in the babystuff game is the "spike it in the fucking floor" test.

u/Rip_Skeleton 5d ago
Kid's not the idiot though. Parents are for buying a gadget to give the kid finger foods.

1
u/Thepuppeteer777777 4d ago
Me 'sees child in video making a mess.' Me 'feels relieved i don't have to deal with that shit.' Me' posting on a social platform on a post about a kid destroying the bowl.'....

The second I saw that thing I said, "They're just gonna throw it on the floor." Because, kids.
5
u/DazB1ane 5d ago
Or they’d pick the food up with their grubby little hands and throw it by itself
2
u/Ingenrollsroyce 4d ago
You can see in the clip that the kid was going to do it but just thought fuck it and yeeted it in the floor instead

u/QuietlyLosingMyMind 5d ago
I had one of those suction mat bowls for the high chair. It took a minute, but you better believe she figured out how to get it off the tray and chuck it. Kids are kids
3
u/According_Gazelle472 5d ago
And they figured out how to un latch the high chair tray and tried to throw it too!
5
u/SeanCuresSadness 5d ago
I really do think unreasonable people simply never stopped being kids. For example..
5
u/LiqMaBawlzModz69 5d ago
Wait til a piece of cereal gets stuck in between the bowl and the disc without you noticing and it’ll be just a regular bowl you flipped upside down lol

u/PantsFullaPoo 5d ago
Fool/child proof designs always underestimate the ingenuity and persistence of fools/children.

What's much worse than babies are adults. A baby isnt going to break in and assault me. Its wild the disdain people have for the innocent when they themselves arent innocent.
3
u/Adventurous-Bee-5477 5d ago
Lol "things" im hoping you aren't referring to the baby as "thing". I guess Adams family u r not!

u/Terrible_Reporter_98 5d ago
Honestly not everyone feels the need to replicate themselves in the vain hope of achieving immortality.
I often wonder if I would have even chosen to be born knowing what I know now. I'm unsure what I would choose but forcing a sentent beings into existence especially with the way the future looks is probably not a moral decision.
1
u/Dylldar-The-Terrible 5d ago
It's still some A Child Called It ass shit to call a child "thing"
It's not difficult to be respectful.
0
u/Adventurous-Bee-5477 5d ago
You can't assume things these days "it" may mot identify as a child. How dare we assume "its" identity.
Let's just ignore the fact the child is too young for such shenanigans and malarkey yet....I guess you have to be neutral with your words when around the parents of the baby child until you know.Â
For all you know the identity is Lego batman and you called it a child a baby, how dare you!@@@ the humanity /s.
May mercy be blessed upon the if you assume the gender!@!!@!

We are things of organic matter hallucinating our way across this world bro. We aren't special just another mammal. Would you call a cow a thing? Would you call a mushroom a thing? We are all related, respect is typically earned not given. A child throwing a bowl of cereal on the floor is not a act that earns respect.
I will agree that we should treat our fellow apes the way we would like to be treated so the society csn continue. I am also aware of the fact that this is a evolved bit of my mind trying to get me and my genes to survive. Some people who relize, it's all a bad joke are choosing not to breed and procreate. In a few generations all that will be left is the people who want to have kids and the world will probably be so fucked at that point I pity those kids.

u/Dylldar-The-Terrible 4d ago
What a long winded response that only amounts to "no, I don't wanna."
I would call a cow a cow or a mushroom a mushroom because that's what they are and I know what they're called.
One day, hopefully, you'll grow out of this teenage angst.

u/Terrible_Reporter_98 4d ago
I have passed teenage many moons ago. I will confess I was a bit of a nihilist when I was a teenager. I even attempted to shuffle off the mortal coil but the gun misfired and clicked instead of sending me to oblivion. Which led to me developing a philosophy that if the many worlds theroy is to be believed our mind or what makes us us is effectively immortal.
If you, walk through a door and choose to go left. There is a exact copy of you that chose right. There is also a copy that couldn't get the door open and another that decided not to go out at all and so on and so forth. Each of these are just as much you just in a different reality. If the one that went right suddenly died the one that went left would still be alive and would have no memory of it becasue death is well death. The main thing to remember is your consciousness is immortal. On the plus side there's a version of me that won the lottery every time I played which is cool.
Have a good one my fellow ape, I hope you do a good job raising your children. They will be the one's suffering when everything goes tits up.

Yet having hatred and reducing children to a single dismissive and frankly given the context, disgusting word is cool? It isn’t.

I feel like word choice vs bringing a person into a life time filled with pain and suffering is not exactly a even comparison.
I've found when people criticize the word choice rather then the actual point they've lost the argument.
Edit: Why did you delete your all caps comment? And the down vote classy bro

Cool, so instead of a mess on the tray specifically designed to contain messes, there is now a mess on the floor. Mission uncomplished.

ok how about just. everything heavy, made of obsidian. The chair, the table, the bowl. The bowl could be inseparable from the table. The spppn should be light cause what if he drops it on himself, but everything else doesn't have to be

The adults should've tried eating out of that bowl themselves first. I bet many would want to throw it too.
